I am intrigued by this game, granted I do like milsim games like Ready or Not and Insurgency Sandstorm, as well as Battlefield. I hope they decide to add controller support, but I won't hold my breath.
I do wish Battlefield implemented some more hardcore shooter mechanics into BF titles. I think the next BF should play like Battlebit, that would be a great balance in my opinion.

I will entirely hold out judgement for the actual game when it fully releases. Saying that, it looks visual stunning and seems to run fairly smooth. I like DayZ and I also play Battlefield. I would be interested in this game. What about playing solo?

The only thing that bugs me is certain bits of foliage (like the crops) not casting shadows, but that's really common in games

Solo is definitely possible, although obviously much more challenging.

they should add drivable vehicles like cars and trucks to move around the map faster

you missed the part that this is 1. an alpha test and also its a realistic game not call of duty
