No way a half percent of the entire global population is expressing interest in a Daytona. Logically, that doesn't make sense, doesn't pass the sniff test. Assuming the raw numbers are correct, what's almost certainly happening is that many individuals are expressing interest at multiple ADs, hoping it'll up their chances of getting the watch. So, thirty to forty million total inquires per year? Ehhhhhh, maybe. Thirty to forty million PEOPLE making those inquiries per year? Not a chance.
You ever heard of market makers? Like in the stock market. Institutions move the market. In this case, grey market dealers move the market. There’s no filter or regulation between them and consumers. So they create rumors, they try to prop price up. THE ONLY TIME THE MARKET IS BAD IS WHEN YOUR SELLING YOUR OWN PIECE… lol. Ceramic daytonas in the grey market are being offered between $15k-17k. If a dealer buys it. Still $25k-$30k on the market. lol. If that’s not price fixing idk what is.
I was just looking for this comment as I was watching the video.. It sounds totally insane to believe that half a percent of the global population show interest in the Daytona.. I would say that its probably less than half a percent of the global population that has ever heard about the Daytona.
hahaha a watch reseller talking about Rolex watches being hard to get.... yea, thanks for being part of the problem. Tell us, how many AD's have sold ya'll watches before?
I notice Panda Daytona's are not selling easily from secondary market and going down in price biweekly. I'm in the NYC area market so I may have more access to a multitude of competing dealers though...
SwissWatchExpo released the video yesterday comparing 116500LN with 126500LN. One hour later 126500LN was gone. At the moment they have none of 126500LN available on their website. To me that’s a good example of how difficult becoming to get 126500LN 🤔
My brother got lucky and was able to pick up a stainless steel panda daytona from an AD after just a month or two. He did buy two other watches prior but insane that he got his hands on a panda daytona so quickly!
I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
It's natural to use your platform to tell people to keep buying watches, even when the watch market is Dead. By for pleasure from AD, you will always get an allocation if your patient. No doubt the Grey market will recover next year.
I have a Daytona in my collection which I got from a walk in last year and last week I saw another Daytona (full white gold) available in a local AD that was available to buy
As Formula 1 audience expands it dilutes its exclusivity. In economic terms the wealth per viewer is going down not up. It’s not Rolex’s market going forward. LVMH is smart to pick it up, but Rolex walking away is smarter. It’s a brilliant move for all LVMH brands, not just Tag-Heuer which makes it worth it for LVMH. Rolex doesn’t need more name recognition, but they do need to protect their image of Luxury. If Rolex was to keep sponsoring Formula 1 it would needed to be a Tudor marketing program not a Rolex. Rolex is going in a new environmental direction, spending money on motor heads no longer makes sense for the Rolex brand. Great show!
Where is Marco you guys? Did something happen ? Please explain and if you need a new sales guy, better then whom you have now, Adrian,Alex, Jason, and myself will be an amazing team. Lady’s of the office stay, cause they are the best. Roman will still have to give direction in what he wants to see. But we would make to 3-4 mill every year no problem
Unlikely for LV to rise quickly in the luxury watch space. Simply because most buyers equate LV as a handbag and leather goods dealer like Hermes and their watches aren't going to appeal to watch buyers anytime soon...Cartier is the only company successfully selling in the watch space with more of a jewelry background following...
I really like some of the GPs. I hate that alarm clock they have made. As in it provokes a visceral reaction - I think it looks like cheap plastic shit, for the money of a proper mechanical watch. But then if it gets the punters through the door… Next stop Temu?
The OCTO is the ugliest watch in the world I don’t understand the hype. All these watch pro praising it wouldn’t buy it for themselves which tells you something. Ugliest watch on the wrist I’ve ever seen.
I have not read all the comments but have to ask, how did your AD let you retain the stickers on the clasp? I thought every AD was mandated by Rolex to remove all the stickers before they physically hand over the timepiece. However you managed it bravo sir and cheers! 🫡🍻

6 billion people. Of course it is possible
@@TalktoMeGoose831of course it’s mathematically possible, but it’s highly improbable. Also it’s 8 billion. :-)
The Miami Watch Show was like visiting a ghost town.

Is Luxury Bazaar collapsing?
Magic 8-Ball shows Not Likely
@@LuxuryBazaarthose aren’t that accurate.
No way- never gauge LB based on the internet. Their clients are not on the internet
No first after 2025 when Rolex starts to mass produce watches. I really hope they end it before the collaps.
@DonaldJohnTrump24 They already do. Rolex makes between 800k and 1m watches per year.
you are talking about the ceramic SS daytonas right? Because two tone, and PM daytonas are def available (certain models at least)
Is the market still stabilized or y’all still capping
They are coping
TAG Heuer is probably the next F1 clock..
At this point the watch market is over rated
these film-flammers love talking their own book.

Becoming easier as the days go by.

Watch market is dead. 😢😢😢.
Lollipops 🍭 for all the tomato 🍅 can eaters.
I got the AD call for a Daytona last week (steel and yellow gold with black dial and diamonds)
Loui Vitton already own Taghuer /zenith and Hublot,So making great watches is easy to them.
Remember that older generation Daytonas were all Zeniths
Not down for LV watch but that's me. I will stay with Patek, AP, Rolex, Vacheron. I want companies who have been in it for a 100 yrs
Austin Martin?? Really. Aston. Come on.
Tag Hueur was the sponsor of F1 during the 90's. Not sure if anyone actually knows this as I don't think F1 was very popular in the US at this time.
Btw , Tudor is looking for some marketing c level exec .

I was offered a two-tone Daytona 2 weeks ago. Not really my thing. The watch is awesome but the gold and stainless $20k part wasn’t me.
Got a panda 126500LN for retail in January, not a big spender either. It’s possible, just play your cards right

Disappointed!! Came for the hairline checkup… Going undercover i see… 👀

Worth mentioning that before Rolex took over F1 sponsoring, the sponsor was Hublot….
ZENITH!!!!!!! Best of LVMH
Who is Austin Martin?

wdym it doesn't represent GP? it's a casquette, they made those in the last century
TWMID 💀
Adriane. You know Roman is going to buy that GP.
Question for the Rolex fans, Do you actually believe the lies told by Rolex marketing, or are you just into instantly recognisable brands?
Great show guys.

Not true I have three friends that have received their Daytonas this year!

I dont care😂
they brought the CEO in for his connections, to bring along that big auction house clientele
I agree with your take on Tag Heuer and Hublot. Spot on about Rolex too.
Great episode😊
I disagree with everything you said. Bless you.

its hard to compete with 150 million but id still rather own a rolex over a tag or whatever watch brand lvmh owns
HEY kislux I have been watching you for years and im so proud of where you have made it! I love you so much! Also thanks for making my day
