You inspired me to take ballet, which I started a few months ago. I am a dance duffus, but I love it and has opened up a whole new world for me that I never thought I could be a part of. Thank you--I have grown and learned so much from you 😘🥰😍
Love this! I’m creating a piece for a student showcase in two months … I’m only five months post-op from shoulder surgery, so I have to pretty much only do “easy” stuff. Being able to really focus on my lines will make the easy stuff much more visually appealing to the audience! I’m here for it!! :-)
Rushing through things is my biggest pit fall when I'm working on a routine. I have a tendency to pick faster music and I'm so wrapped up in figuring out where I am with the music that I'm thinking more about what is coming next then I am about making the move I'm in have nice clean lines.
How can a non ballet dancer learn to point feet ? Is it only about making the leg & foot the longest possible ? Or is there some technique [to learn] ? How do one get better at pointing feet ?

Congrats on getting back in the air, I'm sure it will be gorgeous!
Thanks very much, Cara. So often I look like a broken spider because my lines aren't nice!

Thank you so much!! My teacher has been trying to correct my lines but I didn’t really understand what she meant. I will try these tips 😊

That's so easy to do - for me the faster a routine is the more times I need to rehearse it

I actually already did a whole video about this - it's on my channel :)
