You know what was really nice? I mean all of it was really nice. But not only was everything perfect and not only did it go with the music perfectly, but it's such a relief to see a choreography smoothly executed and not just constant setting up for drops. Drops are cool and all but one does tire of the drama sometimes, this was so easy on the eye.
Beautiful choreography. I also love the costuming (reminds me of a fairy, mermaid, or some other mythical fantasy creature) and silks (reminds me of white sheets which, of course, brings to mind Sleeping Beauty!) choice.
I’ve been doing aerial for a few years and this still is super impressive. I knew the first few moves, but after she spun in a hip-key I was lost. Most of the incredibly impressive stuff was the speed, or lack there of. Doing things like eggbeaters (when she wrapped her legs then did a middle split) are super difficult to do slowly, for me at least. Keeping fabric from falling off is near impossible for me. As the hip-key I’m still in awe of the slow calm execution. Stunning. The climb in the beginning was awe inspiring, i can barely do that with two legs, let alone just one. Very good performance
Melanie Martinez is Q U E E N it’s ok bb be confident I started it takes time and practice but it will be ok!!! Don’t be self conscious :( I bet you’re beautiful you only live once bb
I'm still very self-conscience but I'm taking classes! Just go for it! You don't need to be super flexible, or have a certain body type to do it! (however the first class is really taxing if you have never done anything like it before) But you get used to it really quickly
Aerial silks are so much fun and a great workout, but this lady takes the cake! She has to have amazing core & arm strength for the moves. She is absolutely amazing to watch!❤
Knee climb, dance wraps, splits, rotisserie to teardrop, hip key spin to thigh hitch to what I’m calling a fairy chair but don’t have the name for, then playing with leg position, back to hip key then secretary I believe. Even just the climb alone is utterly exhausting. This is so beautifully done.
Cali jo ReNae once you start you’ll just need to push through the first few classes to get the basics down and a threshold for pain, but after that you just expand outwards. Have fun!
i think i will always be absolutely mesmerized by this routine. and ok lemme be a bit lame for a minute, but that FOOTLOCK!!! gorgeous, the whole thing!
This was one of the first aerial silks videos I watched, and its still one of the few that I feel like could be qualified as a dance. Definitely not an expert here, but the other videos I've seen seem more like they are posing awkwardly with music that doesn't match in the background.
to all those of you who are saying you want to do silks but can’t: silks are around $200 online, which is actually quite cheap for what they are. the rigging is the tricky park. i recommend purchasing a strong strap and definitely a rotating lock, and then rigging the silks to a strong tree!!!
jadedragonfly101 This. So true, i just got my own rig after years of doing aerial. Definitely do classes and then decide a) how much do u still like it and b) can u afford silks monetarily and space wise
I've wanted to learn silks since I was little but there is nowhere nearby for me. My mom said when my cheerleading season ends i can try something new. When i told her i wanted to learn aerial silks she told me to pick something more practical. When i begged her she told me "just take a dance class like a normal girl"
ive been doing silks for 14 months and its magical its like youre unique and strong and beautiful its an amazing thing ps you can do whatever makes you happy(:
@@Ri-qu4gj ive been doing aerial arts for almost 1 year 3 months ive noticed changes after about 6 months i had a nudge to eat better and ive lost about 30 pounds im happier i feel more acomplished i love circus even though it tears up my body rips bruises pain soreness etc im so much happier and life is better
Abnoja Young i was listening to Spotify recently and idk if ur still looking for songs, but lullaby by R3hab seems like it would be awesome for a few drops
I keep watching a bunch of aerial silk videos because of corona :( also congrats on seeing this! The chance is super low! take this as a sign for whatever your contemplating:)
Well done! Talented, beautifull choreo and act... just little girl: It´s not that important to do perfect figures... but to show expression. Enjoy what you do... I think time will make it even better...
Lily Holten anyone can do it if they put their mind to it! I teach aerial dance and have had students up to 65 years old, and as young as 1. It is a beautiful art and sport
anyone can do it! i’ve been doing aerial silks for about 2 and a half years now and i’ve seen so many people of all shapes and sizes walk into the studio and look so beautiful and graceful on the silks
When you really don't want to get out of bed so you start playing in the blankets instead
Amazing comment lmao.
I love this. And relateeee
A tip : you can watch movies at flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching lots of of movies recently.
@Darren Idris Yea, been watching on Flixzone} for since december myself :D
Incredibly lame comment for such a beautiful performance of strength and grace.
the black background makes this so much more mesmerizing!

I feel lame by saying this out of everything, but holy shit that flawless footlock 😮
Phenomonal
Harlynn Adwell even more impressive that they’re egg beaters! Those things are super hard at her speed
i know i only just figured out how to even do footlock
frrrrrr!!!🙌
This was so mesmerizing to watch. So graceful, beautifully done ✨
Ohmg. I used to do this with the curtains as a child. I did not realize it was a dance form
It's not necessarily a dance form, it's also kind of a sport
Damn your curtain rods strong as hell...
@jadah & causins I was a tiny child so no :p
@@hannahlomara6517 haha no I was tiny
Amna Javed i wish i did that as a child 😭😭
I wanna try Aerial Silk classes:( but i can’t split and i’m self conscious about my body,_,

fake mel fan check
Can we be friends? I’m not taking a class but I’m teaching myself aerial hammock/Silks and I’m very self conscious about my upper body strength

It's fine if you can't split! When I started I wasn't able to either! I haven't even done classes for 2 years and I'm an advanced aerialist now!
Aerial silks are so much fun and a great workout, but this lady takes the cake! She has to have amazing core & arm strength for the moves. She is absolutely amazing to watch!❤
I come back to this over and over because it’s so nice. Thank you.

I could sit and watch these performances for hours...so beautiful
I love this video so much. the song choice, outfit, choreography, her performance, video editing, everything about it is just excellent!
Her costume is absolutely GORGEOUS (so was her performance)
I'm starting aerial silk lessons in January and I'm so excited 😊
Maddie ChineseHorse any updates ???
Im starting tomorrow! I hope to do hand straps and Lyra
@@andicarusfell8387 -How is it going?
HOW IS IT GOING?
this was beautiful! she moves with equal amounts of talent and emotion, it's mesmerizing
Am I the only one who could watch this repeatedly? 🤷🏻♀️❤ Beautiful really.
I’m going to start doing Arial silks and I’m excited and this is very well done, the music brings a nice stare of mind to the choragraphy
Cali jo ReNae once you start you’ll just need to push through the first few classes to get the basics down and a threshold for pain, but after that you just expand outwards. Have fun!
I want to do this soo bad but I cant cause my family doesnt have that much money

This is like my favorite video ever now
She's doin it all while not even showing a single frown
I would've be twisting and turning my face in all directions while doing all that😂
Wooow me encanto la delicadeza que usa para hacer figuras 🤩😊👍
Honestly not sure how I got here but I’m not upset about it, this is beautiful in every way!
Can you start aerial silks at 12 years old with no experience in flexibility or gymnastics (or anything of the sort)?
Beautiful!
Everyone: She is so amazing to be able to do that so gracefully.
Me: *Looks at silk* mmmm Taffy
love how she was smart and wrapped mainly on her ankles on her open leg. (one with skin showing)
wow, this was really stunning
so beautifull, well performed, calm, beautifull costume, good camera... just risk a little smile sometimes ;-)
This is my favorite video of aerial silks
I have been struggling to think of sing for my next showcase, but I think I’ll steal this one, it’s beautiful and easy to develop a routine to!
Abnoja Young i was listening to Spotify recently and idk if ur still looking for songs, but lullaby by R3hab seems like it would be awesome for a few drops
That was so beautiful!!
When I open this video I thought :This will beautiful ,but when I heard lana I know that is amazing
IT HURTS WATCHING HER BEND LIKE THAT
After watching this everyday , I memorized the chores and I'm gonna do it no training !!!
Legend says she's still in the hospital, even after two years ( XD)
I keep watching a bunch of aerial silk videos because of corona :( also congrats on seeing this! The chance is super low! take this as a sign for whatever your contemplating:)

Hi Markiplier and Mark. I shall remember your embark my this video.

Wow😍
I wanna do this so bad but im afraid going that high and falling :/ But im so adicted to it.Im gonna start but i afraid going high :I
Twenty Øne crybabies at the discø I've been an aerialist for 4 years, and have yet to fall or to see anyone fall!
I don't have enough money to plus I know I wouldn't be good at it because I'm over wight
lily forbes same
lily forbes the string can hold up to 2000 pounds I did this for like 5 months then quit and now I'm getting back into it
Same

200th comment 😋
I did Aerial for about 3 years and I probably would die if I did it again 😂 btw I was 11 when I did it and I’m 14 now so 🤷🏼♀️
I’m 11 and my aerial hammock is coming in two days! Any Tips?
「Kokoa Wolf」 I don’t have a hammock, I usually use silks
LeAndra Amy did you start with a hammock?
Is that Sansa Stark! Lol
Amazing performance!!!
LANA
Can someone sign me up!!!!!
Very beautiful but your movements should be sped up a touch.
😀
I can even do a somersault...
so flowy but it appeared more like gymnastics, the mood of the song isn't there and neither is expression. epic transitions and flexibility tho,
devika nair jj aerial is a part of circus, but it is sometimes compared to air gymnastics, so ur half right
Lol I do that
My parents won’t let me do this cuz I’m a guy
not very graceful...
