Okay question for the first Paper you had with the flower on it is that like printed from the computer and trace with marker or you drawl the thing your self with a marker ? Just asking so ik that rather I know how to draw or not I still got some way lf tattooing
Hey mine came out terrible I think. I did a Spider-Man stencil. My design came out slightly off, the ink is too powerful. Some smeared on the fake skin. Did I press too hard when tracing in pen? Press too hard while transferring the stencil? Did I use too much deodorant? What’s going on?!! Also the ink seems to smear way too easy so should I let it dry on the fake skin before attempting to tattoo?
I have watched your videos for so long and I love all the information you give and it's helped me a LOT learning how to pierce and tattoo. A lot of my tattoos I have done are done without stencils and I would like to try larger pieces with a stencil. Super helpful!!
You can also use tracing paper. Tracing paper gives you a more solid outlines and you can kinda re-use that stencil if the placement gets messed up a bit.
I'm not sure if this is a dumb question or not but after this step is done will the stencil be permanent if it is on your skin? like if I followed all of the steps perfectly and did it on my skin instead of the skin paper will the lines be permanent
+Chantel Christopher they're called Machines darling :) these here are Dragon Hawk machines. Check out Unimax Tattoo Supplies online as well. They have a great selection of machines you can choose from :)
I watched your video on how to set your tattoo gun. I don't understand how you know where to set your tattoo gun? I am a baginner. And I mean beginner. How fast should your gun be going when outlining? And how much on coloring in?
Aztec Girl check out tattoo University channel as well. He talks aloooooooot and takes a while to get to the main focus of the video but everything he does talk about is still knowledge you should take . The videos are long but all the more easier to set your phone aside to pay attention. Not that I don't love these videos as well. Keep in coming!
If you go to a tattoo shop and he/she removes the stencil and the outline looks like that, just say you left your headphones in the car and never come back...
Aj Buchholz low quality application, can barely see the lines. Stencils professionally made and applied have thick bright lines and won't come off for like a whole day. Just shows a lack of professionalism if they work like that. but for cheap diy not bad, not bad
Batel Skater ok I went and got some paper called graphite paper and tried to lay the stencil on a banana and it didn't paste the design on the banana what am I doing wrong I used the speedsrick deorderant
I think you'd be better off with pencil, charcoal or chalk. It would rub/wipe off easily. If you need a stencil/transfer, maybe just draw the design on your paper, trace the reverse side, then scribble back over the front. The rock would need to be pretty smooth though. I'd say try freehand. Have a go! Xxx
Thanks for letting me know to sharpen the pencil...i sat here trying to sketch with a un sharpened pencil for the last 4 months. I really appreciate your tutorial you taught me alot.
Yes sweetie. I tattoo like I draw. Everyone has their own style. Back to your question on how deep to go. It honestly depends on your clients skin, and I'll explain that in more detail and view on my next tutorial. Thank you SO much for requesting
Batel Skater i haven't even bought my tattoo gun yet lol. I watch all your tattoo videos and it is inspiring me to go buy one and give it a go. I watched your video on setting the machine. I was a bit confused on how fast the machine should go to outline. And how fast for coloring. But I guess I should just buy the gun and mess with it. Hoping I can't break it or somethimg. Thank you so much for your tutorials and for being willing to share your ideas. You killin it with your rose! 😎👍 I was reading we should try to do each line with one stroke, like you do. I draw alot of prison art type roses with the feathering. I've been drawing them since the 80's. Im thinking I might as well do something useful with my art lol. Anyway, thanks again!!
or you could just draw the picture on a paper then go over with a pen then appy deodorant on skin stick the picture on a skin where you appy deodorant the press and remove it
stencil stuff- let it dry for 10-15 min, stencil will stay on longer, deodorant stencil wipes off really easy before tattoo is done, cheap way of doing it
jus kervs find the vid w Bob Tyrrell doing Frankenstein's monster. He is talking just about this issue. Some ppl outline the sketch very softly b4 it totally dissapears.
Clean area with alcohol 1st then apply stencil with stencil stuff I usually add about 5 6 pumps of hand sanitizer into my bottle and shake it really good oncw you put on stencil let dry for 5 10 min so it sticks really good and dont wipe hard dab when you do a line so paper towel soaks up the ink and not smear
omg I'm such a fucking idiot i used the stencil paper the wrong way and i was like why tf are the letters mirrored. I feel so dumb thanks great tutorial.
i like how you explained the paper. most people didn’t and i was really confused as to how they got the ink on the skin lol
I'm trying to learn stick and pokes for the first time. Dude this was so helpful, thanks for making it!
Thanks you made that simple. I watched three other guys talk about thermographic transfer... Most of us don't have that machine.
Exactly.
"Make sure to use really good pen" pulls out cheapest pen u can buy

Hey quick question. Why do I have to trace twice? Can't I just do it once over the purple sheet?
Thanks..You have the power to teach..☝
I have watched your videos for so long and I love all the information you give and it's helped me a LOT learning how to pierce and tattoo. A lot of my tattoos I have done are

You win the thumbs up, thanks. You did a perfect job of this tutorial. Very clear, very clear and easy to follow narration. Thanks :)
So glad you enjoyed and learned!🖤🙌🏼
will the ink still be applied to the skin without the stencil stuff gel that you applied?
No. You’ll probably get a little people on your skin but you need stencil stuff or similar to transfer the stencil to skin.
I have been totally using this paper the wrong way lol so I thank you for this video it definitely helped alot
Huge help. My cousin is a clown & I almost let him give me a tattoo.. Thanks greatly!!
Do you have to have the lines perfect for stencil? I’ve been practicing tracing but it’s like i got some not so perfect lines ?
Thanks for this video! What is the paper you are using? Any brand in particular?
Bounty
🤣🙏🏼🖤
You can also use tracing paper. Tracing paper gives you a more solid outlines and you can kinda re-use that stencil if the placement gets messed up a bit.
Do you have to use stencil stuff for tattoos or is there anything else you can use
You,can just use the original piece of paper.the stencil, will transfer right onto it.half the work and honestly it’s darker on regular paper.
What kind of pen can we use?
Does the purple thingy rub off if you touch it while tattooing or not lol
Nice video. Question why you use pencil? I think pen is better, what you think?
Never mind I saw you used the pen later
Why did you cut the carbon/purple ink paper?? Lots on there still.
Ok.
Batel Skater what is the purple ink paper called? I’m trying to order everything I will need to start learning.
I maybe not a tattoo artist but it takes really time to take it off the stencil paper on skin before you start to make the stencil clear.
can you re-use the stencil of the rose that you put on the skin ?
Use the same hand position u would use to tattoo it and tap a rock to the end of ur pencil to get the weight of the machine
Question if I use carbon paper instead of tattoo paper can I have the same quality with the image?
What machines u use make and models ?
What kind of paper did you use? The link doesn’t work anymore
I'm not sure if this is a dumb question or not but after this step is done will the stencil be permanent if it is on your skin? like if I followed all of the steps perfectly and did it on my skin instead of the skin paper will the lines be permanent
No
thank you, will see how i handle it as soon as my stencil paper is delivered
Very Welcome, Good Luck🖤
Could you lat me know the brand or where you got the stencil paper pls? Love ya
head shops got it for a buck a sheet
Where could I get a stencil tattoo book ? X
Try local shops, maybe even Michaels might have it, if not Amazon for sure
Thanks 🙏🏻 that saved me £185 buying thermal printer. Thank you
great video for messy and NEAT artists
Why dont you leave the second Layer from begining?
Make sure that you have your bounty ready. For gods sakes don’t forget the bounty.
This really helps I always wondered how they made stencils
Place copy paper over purple ink and trace. Just me saves you time and it doesn’t matter if you move
I was literally thinking about this, youtube read my mind.
🤣🙌🏼Glad I can Help!🖤
thanks! very straight forward and demonstrative!
You’re very Welcome! Thank you for your Awesome comment!🖤

Do an apprenticeship!! Don't listen to these people. You can't learn to tattoo professionally on your own!!

You need Stencil Stuff, or Stencil Applicator to apply any stencil. That deodorant won’t work.
Batel Skater ok I guy at a tattoo shop used it but ok ill try that thanks
can you do it on normal printing paper instead?
so you can reuse the purple ink paper
Absolutely
Nice video learned a lot of things for the advice thumbs up✌👍 I'm starting everything new so thanks for this advice
You’re welcome love!❤️🖤❤️
Is the stencil reusable?
More like how to use a stencil period. I thought it was a video on how to make a stencil from home meaning w.o stencil paper.
Ok? That's on you
Thank youuuu!!!! I was doing this so wrong!
Can you do this and apply it to rocks?
