The edited YT version also seems to have an audio distortion after the first few lines of Chaplin’s words, as the echo of his voice from the microphone suddenly and abruptly stops, which is quite jarring. The full ovation for Chaplin is so historically important, and well deserved for him. They must release it ASAP.

I know right!? Great guy. His connection to letterboxd makes him a real person. I say “real person” in the sense that he interacts with such a small tight-knit community. It makes me forget about his “celebrity” status. Very humble guy.
