    Using this to keep my music room the perfect humidity and temperature for my instruments to be in top shape. Thank you for this video! It was so much clearer than the manual, which was written in a really confusing way.

      Because the instruction manual does not. That's why I'm here. Such confusion settings and instructions. I got most of it figured out but the humidity stays on even after it is where it needs to be. Hopefully this video and setting it lower than it needs to be will fix it.

It depends on how much you want to spend. If price is not really a big deal there are better systems for sure more suited to your needs.

    Hey!
    That bluetooth Inkbird sensor is an excellent item. Now.. Is there a sort of "Save log" on it?
    What i mean is, can I leave it running all day and when i come home, can I see the graphs from the hours I was at work? or will it only plot data when its within bluetooth range?
    I absolutely would like to have an item like that, that allows me to see what the days ranges are. If this wont show me the data I missed, are there any items that WILL show me that info?

    • @downwithprohibition7364
      @downwithprohibition7364  3 роки тому

      Yeah you can go a week or 2 without connecting before won't be able to load the data. It will only work within range of Bluetooth unless you get a wifi hub. They you can connect i believe 6 or 7 sensors and connect to them from anywhere in the world. Basically the hub is a Bluetooth hub that streams live data to your phone

    Put the controller outside, sensor inside at canopy height. You need to know what the leaf temp is at canopy height. This means let the lights hit the sensor at canopy level. If you want a perfect environment learn about VPD.

      @@downwithprohibition7364 Thank you. I checked that too, My other concern is How it detects humidity with a Thermal probe???
      Please explain.
      There is a newer version with a puzzling LCD screen, the IBS-TH1 Plus. It is puzzling because it is Bluetooth which means it works at a Distance and that is the whole point yet if has an LCD screen for close up monitoring ??? Kinda Pointless LCD. But it does definitely does read humidity levels.
      Nothing I have found slows down my computer. Its water cooled. Screen1: 300 open Firefox tabs, Screen Screen2: Live Video/TV and Screen 3: AutoCAD or Photoshop (each on there own dedicated 32" screen). All at the same time. So you can see why I need to keep it cool.

I have an older ibs sensor without the screen but honestly I wouldn't recommend one for your setup. The app is a bit glitchy and it don't always notify me unless I have the app open. I just use them to make sure my plants dont dry out so nothing critical like your intending to do with it. They are better at making the controllers than apps for those sensors lol. I'm new at this, I don't understand how it would turn the air con on. Why would power on/off turn the machine on/off?

    • @downwithprohibition7364

      I am a little unsure what you are asking so I will give it my best shot. Your air conditioners power cord would be plugged into the controller. This might not work for all air conditioners for instance if you have a fancy digital air conditioner it may not work as you would need to manually turn back on. An older style with the knobs where you could leave it in the on position it would work great. An easy way to check is to turn on your unit, unplug it and plug it back n if it starts back up this controller will work for you. You can program it as I showed in the video to kick on at a certain temp and shut off at another. I hope I was able to answer your question.

    Can I plug an exhaust fan and an intake fan on that device so that they both work simultaneously at the same time?

    • @downwithprohibition7364
      @downwithprohibition7364  4 роки тому +1

      Yes but since there is only one plug you would need to add a dual power bar.

    Shouldn't you just have the humidity and temp sensors in the tent and the actual devise outside of it?

    • @downwithprohibition7364
      @downwithprohibition7364  5 років тому

      You can put it wherever you choose Stephen. I left mine in the tent but i didn't want to stretch the cords. One thing i did do with it in the tent is covered the display with tape so I didn't have any light leak issues. If you run it outside the tent you wouldn't have to worry about that apart

    You did good to react but u went and got a trash piece of equipment but hey keep buying cheap stuff. How are you going to plug a humidifier, dehumidifier, heater or ac in 2 plug ins? See that's the problem. The fan doesn't cool anything it just pulls heat out and you never want to vent more u want to vent less. Next time just get a auto pilot monitor and controller has everything on it except ac. That's because your going to need ac and portable ones don't need inkbird, neither does your dehumidifier so why buy that just to honestly turn on and off the humidifier?
