Hello. I recently noticed a malfunction on the controller. I have the HS value to 55% with a differential 2.5%, and 1 minutes protection time. For the first 3 days, it turned the humidifier on when the humidity descended to about 49-50%.But now, for some reason the protection time takes way longer than 1 minute, causing humidity to go as low as 28%. I've even set the protection time to 0, but it keeps getting stuck at 'humidity delay' for quite some minutes. What can I do to fix this?
Will be using this device in a high-humidity vivarium. Is there any way to disable the alarm for the higher humidity threshold? Even if the device is set at 99%, it will still sound-off every time the enclosure gets misted. Is there a way to disable the HAH (Humidity-Alarm-High) alarm? If not, what would you recommend we do in order to mitigate the beep every time?
Hi, thanks for your inquiry. You can set the humidity value to the minimum. Once it alarm, just press any button to mute it. Then it won't alarm again.
@@armystrongmom What would you recommend as a better option? Mine is flaking out. I've been awake since midnight thanks to random errors popping up on the screen and triggering the bi-bi-biiii alarm.
I cannot connect my device to wifi, reset it, waited, nothing. Keeps telling me it’s unable to connect. My internet is 2.4ghz and the router is legit 5 feet away near a window and it’s still not working. Reset it, Unplugged it for 30 minutes and tried re setting it up and still nothing.
I give the video 9/10 Could have been a little bit more informative on the setup and installation as silly as that sounds Taking mine I know you got to keep the viewers engage so you can't have a 30 minute video but maybe give the option for a more in-depth video at the end of let's say a short and compounded video
I gave this to my friend so he can use once I was done with it. But for some reason it’s not letting him connect to WiFi. It says THIS DEVICE IS ALREADY IN USE. I DELETED MY OLD ACCOUNT. but still don’t let him connect. Any idea on resetting
Hi, the ideal temperature is 100.5℉, and the temp differencial could be 1℉ or 1.5℉. But the humidity setting depends on the day. It seems that the humidity requirement differs between day 1-17 and day 18-21.
I own 4 of these and they work no problem at all with Wifi. They run my business. I just ordered two more of the exact same model and they turn on just fine out of the box. When I try to configure the units for wifi through the app something happens and they start rebooting themselves in an endless cycle. There is no way that I can find to get of this problem. I returned them to amazon and got replacements and the same thing. Did something change or I can getting faulty units over and over?

Hi, the HAH (Humidity-Alarm-High) alarm can't be disabled now but we will add this function in the near future. If you set the HAH to 99% and still get frequent alarms due to the high humidity fact. We suggest setting HAH to 5% if you don't want the alarm at all. So the device will alarm once and you can press any button to mute the alarm. It will keep showing an "EAH" error to remind you of the high humidity alarm and you may ignore it. In this way, the "beep" alarm sound won't go every time.
I got 6 of these and set 2 up with minimal issues. When I went to set the next ones up, the units flash to r2.1. I can’t get it to do anything when it does this.
There's no requirement for the calibration interval in fact. You may send the device to your local calibration center to for re-calibration when you doubt the accuracy performance.

Para evitar que se active la alarma, puede establecer un rango de alarma de humedad extremadamente amplio, como 99% HR. En este caso, la alarma no se activaría con facilidad y frecuencia.
@@ElitechTechnologyInc Ya está el parámetro 99% pero si suena sin ni siquiera tener una humedad alta suena cuando tienen 40% es más suena sin estar en un lugar de humedad es muy molesto que el sensor siempre este fallando y mandé error del sensoruy pero muy molesto ya estoy en un punto de volarle la bocina porque el día que necesite que esté a un 90% de humedad va estar peor si ya está así de fastidioso
Can we please get a silence button for all alarms in the app or a update to the controller every night my alarm goes off for a sensor error or humidity alarm it is very annoying the product works but I feel like it would be even better if we could get mute all alarms in the app or as an option on the controller itself I’m almost to the point where I would pay real money it drives me my wife my dog and guest insane

When I go to wifi it says “closed”, it won’t let me click in wifi to add it even though I’m connected. Reset the wifi not seeing an option to do anything with that, recommendation?

This device has a serious malfunction, it gets stuck on 'humidifying delay' for long periods of time (even though you set the delay to zero), causing humidity to drop to unwanted levels. This is a recurring bug from years back, and Elitech does nothing to fix this problem. Stay away from this brand.

So you have to choose 1 device type for each socket. Cant have more control with a de-humidifier and humidifier on one of the sockets?

Did you ever get this resolved. I have had this issue with several of my controllers and it happens when attempting to setup wifi.
My space heater will not turn on when temp falls below set parameters. Any idea if I’m doing something wrong or have it setup wrong?
Hi, did you enable protection delay on your device? When the protection delay is enabled, you could see the heating icon flash.

If I don’t change the settings will the alarm still go off for any reason?
If you don't change anything, the device will alarm based on the default settings. You may check the default setting in the manual.
