DUDE!!!! I just bought the temp/humidity combo set for my grow space. The included instruction manual reads like a scientific data paper. Your video just saved me a migraine. THANK YOU!!!
many thanks, i'd started with the little manual but was quickly losing the will to live so this was a solid gold find. Many thanks for the clearest explanation I could have asked for.
I was intimidated by the device when I got it and got my humidifier and dehumidifier working correctly by time video was over. Thank you for you super easy instructions. Got a full understanding in less than 10 minutes
This video was as helpful as anyone could ever ask for. The instructions that come with it are a bit challenging to comprehend to say the least. Thank you for posting this
I really appreciate how you take the time to discuss the equipment needed, why you need it and how to use it. I am just getting into Charcuterie and currently setting up my chiller just like the one you have. My hopes are to have plenty of Charcuterie for this summer.
I had it set up for my humidifier and now i need to set up my dehu but I lost my instruction manual and this was super easy, thanks. All set up and going in 5 minutes. Can't beat it.
I plan to use this to control old non-electronic dehumidifiers (like old Kenmores) and also new electronically controlled ones where the electronics has gone haywire so I'll control the compressor/fan directly with this controller (cheaper than electronic repair or getting another dehumidifier.) Looks like a great unit especially since can replace the sensor.
Thanks for the best way to explain the controller i use it as reference to share it with my friends …best explanation ever We use it in the birds room May i know what humidifier u r using and the dehumidifier
Thank you for this, as I was struggling with the directions for this unit. I just set up a Paludarium and looking forward to seeing how well this unit dials in the humidity. My coworker is big into curing meats, looks like you've got some great videos that can help him in his endeavors.
I tried to read the manual on this thing and I was able to set the RH but I was super confused about dd and DH which I needed to create a loop of humidifying and air intake/dehumidifying. This was super helpful! Now I just need to learn how to calibrate them.
So glad you made a vid on how to program this. I had to buy this one for my ball python. The humidifier I have for him don't automatically shut off and inkbird is the only humidity controller I could find
Recently talked to the manufacturer. They have come out with a wireless version of this product. Also the new version has a plastic cage around the sensor. Not trying to overstep, just trying to help.
2 Guys & A Cooler strong product. I use an InkBird for my 300 gallon tilapia aquaponics system & another for my cold smoke smoker. Starting my modifications on a fermentation chamber. I will be using InkBird for humidity & temp control if I can get my hands on a wireless unit for humidity. Your coppa recipe actually.
Fantastic videos and replies to everyone’s questions. Your webpage and videos have made my project of building a chamber and learning how start my new hobby have been an extremely valuable resource to have. I can’t thanks you enough.
@2guysandacooler When the product is plugged in to any socket, it doesn't turn on. The digital display won't light up, the buttons don't do anything. Could this just be a faulty product? Do they not do any quality control?
Bless you for making this vid. The IHC 200 instruction manual is complete a waste of paper. But the actual controller rocks, now that I know how to work it!
Gave up on mine two years ago and called it a loss. Figured it was The Germans getting their revenge on us. This video made it super easy. Appreciate the translation
I can recommend after almost 3 years of familiarity with inkbird itc-200, so it is very important to turn the sensor so that the caves face forward, as far away from a surface as possible, that can hold at a different temperature than there is in, the air. Then inkbird itc-200 may prove wrong in these cases. Calibration in the same way, with the sensor away from a surface as possible. Best Regards. Frank Ingemann Knudsen.
This was such a big help thank you so much I'm subscribing even though I don't really follow this type of content. I'm using this for reptiles as this was recommended by many people in the reptile hobby.
When I plug it in, the Work 2 light comes on instead of Work 1. How do I switch the controller to configure Work 1? I have my humidifier plugged into Work 1 but the light for Work 2 is still on.
@@notyaavridge2660 I figured out why work 2 comes on. There was too much humidity then the set humidity number. So generally the plug switches to plug 2 to dehumidify and regulate it. I hope that helps
Great clip thank you! I found the humidity probe to be very slow ... The device is fairly accurate when humidity is increasing. But very slow to detect when humidity is dropping. To test this I took my tent to 98% before it shuts down my humidifier (8x8 tent). I exhausted the tent quickly once humidity hit 98% and but the device took roughly 8 minutes before it detected the sudden change in humidity. I have a separate humidity probe for my exhaust fan, which detects the change in humidity a lot quicker, so I was able to compare. Have you seen this to be a problem?
Hi, thank you for a very clear and precise overview of the IHC-200. I have a question. I am only running a small humidifier placed inside a chiller chamber for curing sausage. Is it ok to just have the Work 1 socket plugged in and leave the Work 2 empty?
Hey this video is a lifesaver! I just purchased a small wine cooler but RH is always around 90%. If I connect a dehumidifier only to the inkbird would that be enough to lower humidity or do I need also a humidifier to counterbalance it? Since the cooler already produces a lot of humidity on it's own I thought I might not need the humidifier. I want to get to RH80%. Many thanks!
Great Video! Explained super well! However, I have an issue with my meters. Whenever they are in ambient air, 2 of them are 1% off from each other and a 3rd meter is 5 & 6% off from those. Weirdly enough, when I put them all in an airtight plastic container with the salt (even with insulation below container to not affect the temp from table) all 3 meters show the exact same number - 77%. Any ideas why this would be happening?
Great Video. Looking to buy. One Q. Do I have to use Work2 (dehumidifier) plug? I just want to use the Work1 (Humidifier) plug. Does leaving Work2 plug empty still allow my humidifier (Work1) work??
this was way easier to understand then the instructions that came with it
Literally
You got instructions?
@@trevor852 you can say that again.
I thought I was too high glad I’m not alone
the instructions SUCK!!
DUDE!!!! I just bought the temp/humidity combo set for my grow space. The included instruction manual reads like a scientific data paper.
Your video just saved me a migraine.
THANK YOU!!!
Be curious how you set yours up. I just want to kick on a small space heater at like say 57% Humidity to warm the air and lower the humidity.
I'd say it reads like a 2nd grader wrote it.
should have bought wifi combo, u can program it thru computer or phone, easy as fuk
many thanks, i'd started with the little manual but was quickly losing the will to live so this was a solid gold find. Many thanks for the clearest explanation I could have asked for.
LOL. Very good!! I'm glad it was helpful!
Three years later youre still saving people (including me) from that manual.
I was intimidated by the device when I got it and got my humidifier and dehumidifier working correctly by time video was over. Thank you for you super easy instructions. Got a full understanding in less than 10 minutes
Very well done! I really appreciate you taking the time to make this, and your ability to get straight to it without a lot of useless antics.
Thanks Tom

Dude.......That was a straight up SPOT ON👌 product walk through. :):):) Very much appreciated.
This was an absolute life saver. The included instructions were damn near impossible to understand. Thank you for the clear and concise explanation.
Your video was super easy to follow and comprehensive. Finally got my auto function to work thanks to your video!

Thank you so so much I could not understand the instructions at all but this video made it easy!
Thanks dude! This is one of those examples of a video being informative and to the point and super useful
well thank god for you, the instructions that come with the unit are horribly inadequate, this was perfectly understandable and simple. Thank you.
Great review mate 🤙🏼 the info card it came from just doesn’t cut it sometimes but this video sure did. You’ve earned a like!
To say the very least

This video is a sanity saver! Thank you for making it! While Inkbird may make a great controller their directions have little to be desired...
I couldn't agree more: "Its play-n-plug designed, dual LED screens enabling more humanized." 🤔 Lmao
Awesome, so easy to use the humidity controller, than instructions being difficult to understand.
Definitely needed to watch this video. Thanks a million!
You are the best! You just helped me out exponentially*! Thank you!
this guy deserves a like and a subscribe
Best instruction on the internet !! 🙏🏼thanks
Wowzers this video was awesome.. explained everything perfectly. Thank you!
Thank you soo much for these directions.
Excellent explanation! Thanks!
Awesome video easy to understand and very informative
The controller's low humidity alarm only goes up 50%. So if you have sensitive crops, you should get another control that can warn you sooner.
Thanks this helped a lot! The instructions are pretty confusing. They should just give the link to this video in the instructions.
Outstanding! Many Thanks
Man i watch this video every time i use mine lol thanks
I wish there was a video showing how to replace the sensor. Inkbirds instructions that came with my replacement sensor are very vague.
Great clip. You answered all my questions.
Mine didnt come with instructions lol thanks for making this video. :)
Great video I am looking to setup ths unit thanks to this content, cheers bro🙏🏻💚🌱☯️🫡

Awesome video! Does Pt apply to only dehumidification or humidification too? Usually it's only ACs that have compressors, right?
I feel like the cable of the sensor is way too short.. It works great but I can't mount it where I would like to have it.
Great video anyways!
Fantastic tutorial. Thank you.
Thank you my friend you helped me a lot! God bless.
Could i use this for a heater and a fan?
Very clear instructions.
I love this channel, saludos desde México.
Thank you for simple instructions done in a great way!
Thanks so much for this, helped me out a lot.
Thank you! That was perfect. The instructions included gave me angst. Do you know if there is a way to deactivate the high humidity alarm?

Any idea how to turn off the alarm? Great video. Very informative! New here. Never slow to grow!!!
I don't think that there is an option for that. I just sent inkbird a message and asked them. I'll let you know as soon as I get a reply.
Press the Set button. It turns alarm off.
@@2guysandacooler would love to turn the alarm permanently off.. Is there any option for that without soldering it out?
@@M4XD4B0ZZ 😂😂. Maybe set it to widest parameters high and low.
@@2guysandacooler yeah that's what I was thinking, still was hoping for a way to shut it off entirely. Thanks for answering tho, I appreciate it
Merci pour ces explications très efficaces.

Hold the set down for 3 seconds and reach your value to switch it from work 1 to 2 or vise versa.
Can your inkbird show you the Temperature ? My manual says yes but when i press up and down together it doesnt show me the temperature. Great video ✌️
Oh now i get it
Thank you very, very much.
Man your the best thank you !!
