If I were doing this kinda precise job, I would make two watches from one and have a few spare parts 😂😂
This precision is just insane.
Beautiful but it looks more like a clock with a belt attached than a wristwatch.
Perfection !!!
Amazing perfect work and hand made design of case.
Art at its purest!!!
It,s like mini universe. Amazing.
한경호 nice description 👍🏻
This video makes me appreciate A. Lange & Söhne even more .
why?
I know Lange is good but why?
@@user-rx9ny4yo2e , their innovation for one , also their hand finishing and .ingenuity .
Amazing that they can do that precision work while someone is banging on the piano!
Amazing how many gears are involved. Very nice piece of art.
This makes the engineers heart beat a bit faster😀
Beautiful video!
Ah the world of fine timepieces!
The funny thing is the absolutely giant watch faces these days means it's far LESS challenging to manufacture mechanical watches vs older generation women's watches. The engineering that went into a tiny 1980s women's watch design is leagues more difficult to manufacture than anything Patek Philippe is doing 40 years later.
Sooooooooooooo Much love it
Thank you :-).
The picture is wonderful.
However, the orange tag is in the way.
Ohh amazing 😄😍😍
The lesson of the video is,
1) Craft out something fine (is ok to be unnecessary, the most important thing is show the passionate and handcrafted)
2) Marketing, telling how expensive the product could be. Make it famous. If possible, telling how long the brand established, even the figure is nothing much related to the quality. People will just perceive that must be good anyhow.
3) Those social racer (who trying to tell people they just can afford expensive things) will just buy it.
Win win strategy. You get the money, they get the fame.
Ass holes a.
Skilled workers 💥
This would be impressive on a large scale let alone the scale they are working on.
It is commendable that few historical firm are still investing in this art. And that the product is indeed is a luxury reserved to few is also understandable. But is also true that compared to new technologies is like wanting to travel on a highway with a Ford T model. Also fashionable but impractical.
4:25 Excellent place or plate in this case for some artistic measure like a lion, a dragon, or you name it. Absolutely exquisite timepiece kudos!
Fantastic!
Arcydzieło. Dziękuję. POZDRAWIAM ❤
It's amazing the effort, expense and equipment that went into making a watch which is almost as accurate as a solar powered, waterproof Casio for $100. (it receives signals from atomic clocks)
Clocks and watches were invented to tell the time; today it costs $16 to have an accurate timepiece.
Kim Siewers you deserve a Casio, I deserve a Patek XD
Ludmilla, what have you accomplished in your life such that you deserve anything?
We can just look at our smartphone to get time accurate time, calendar and even more😁
Whatever they say, a watch like this is a jewel first and a time piece second. It is more or less the men's version of a diamond necklace. The sheer beauty and craftsmanship going into a piece like this is without equal. And it might even be the most accurate time keeper, apart from atomic clock solutions. But if keeping time was so important, they could also buy a Casio. The owners could care less about time, they care about excellence.

It's all about status. I like watches and even if I was a Billionaire I would spend that amount on a watch.
I will Buy it for sure 💯💥
PP, the world's best watchmaker? That statement is highly debatable.
It's a fact. Afterwords there's a. lange & söhne and vacheron constantin and seiko and rolex
F.P. Journe and Jaeger LeCoultre belong in there, above Vacheron Constantin at this point
it's me PP may hold its top spot, but F.P. Journe, Breguet, and Jaeger LeCoultre belong in there, above Vacheron Constantin at this point.
My Patek is close to it's 70th birthday. It keeps better time than my; Rolex, Vacheron ,Baume Capeland Chrono, Cartier Pascha Chronograph, AND, just about ALL the wrist watches in my collection. The only timepiece that I own matches the accuracy of my Patek is even OLDER . It is a pocket watch w/39 jewels as a high grade railroad watch. It is a pain to keep winding that watch due to the fact the fact you need you need to open the back of the case to wind it. The design of the plates are consistent with a Waltham in the US . The marking on the plate is: PT0004. I've not be able to trace that.
cookingprof do you recommend any female watches that goes up in value?
Pretty cool what did they do before cnc?
right, in this video they pretend that there is handicraft, needlework, but actually, is all done by CNC robots
Bruh u get some kind of platinum trophy in heaven for owning one of these sometime in your life
Nice
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the craftsmanship but, $2 million for a watch????? If I had that kind of money I would still save my money and just ask the guy next to me what time it is.
Mágico!!!!
Love the split date ring, you could do that with hour and minute and never use another hand.
Your childrens childrens grandchildren will be wearing your watch they are seriously amazing and beautiful!
Good video patex Philippe vacheron constantin best watch wold swiss watch best wold
Thanks to this upload now some china can easy make a copy of this watch...
They can copy the watch, but the watch will remain what it is - a copy.
nice
Too bad the music is louder then anything otherwise a great video.
OK, I can imagine if you even have a hint of a cold you can't come to work or you shouldn't. Imagine one wrong sneeze. Expensive stuff be flying into the nether world!
I never saw watch making like this amazing i want that watch
It is too cost patek philippe watches. Only crorepatis can buy.. Millioneres
The watch in the vídeo costs millions dude
i'll have 3 thanks!
Citizen Eco-Drive watches have been my favored watches since soon after they hit the market. Not as expensive as many other brands but just as attractive and precise.
Bought a new one 2 months ago. Set its various functions and haven’t lost a second yet.
Set its various...
@@ulrichfriehe3459 Thank you for the correction.
Great video and incredibly insightful. Please in future consider less “facts” - it’s great, however quite infuriating considering that it actually detracts from the entertainment of the video.
It remind me looking at my father. Between 1954 and 199?, there were 4 jewelers nearby me
, 2 of his brothers and the grand father and my father, all passionnated.
Whilst this is beautifull, I would like to see it made by hand for 2 mill. Then It would be a work of art.
People with two million to splurge on a watch are paying for the label not for the craftsmanship. Watch the movie "Branded".
Beautiful watch , i could make it my wife
?
Insaneee
The eyepiece/loupe the guy is wearing at 7:52. Very steampunk
Wow
😍😍😍
Maaaan ... when that thing flipped @11:15
AP,PP,VECHRON 🔥🔥
Wiedząc ile taka praca kosztuje, sam bym robił :)
I love how they compare everything to Rolex when the Rolex’s cost a fraction of the price of a patek
Its called relating something to a brand everyone knows. Also, there are some Pateks in the same price range as Rolex. Just saying.
This shows why you need to make a tool to make a tool to make a tool.
It's a work of art. It's beautiful! But still it's overpriced. Materialism at it's finest.
hand made it's overpriced....
Tbh, even all the prettiness, Grand Seiko have much better prices while providing the great movements they hand assemble (MOVEMENTS NOT WATCHES) and watches too, Check out a Grand Seiko, its relatively affordable. Don't forget they were founded just after AP and 2 decades before Rolex.
BUT seiko 5 are also good for around 100-250 usd
I can smell the lower middle class income in this thread
wohoo wohoo it’s not overpriced if someone pays for it
All that precision and they could not sync the audio & video???
Enjoy it! RESPECT!!!!
There is no occasion worthy of wearing such a watch.
beautiful watch ever made!!!
Can you imagine being an engraver and showing up to work hungover and messing up a few of the gold case engravings?! That's too much pressure! I wonder how much they make?
The watch presented on the start of the video was made on a limited run of 6 watches. Its called grandmaster chime
What model is this?
Still, when it´s noon it´s that on a Seiko too!
Is a seiko mostly hand made
My Apple Watch too 🤣🤣🤣
@@glad5409 Grand Seiko or Credor yes, Seiko or Citizen no
Can you give us this video without the text overlays blocking the amazing view?
What is this exact model called? Not just grand complication.
$500,00 is the emphasis of this video.
Jaeger Lecoultre, Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin, A. Lange $ Sohne, Breguet and then Patek Phillipe
At 4:55 Does anyone know the name of that machine that polishes little cercles ?
Es una sinfonía el reloj. Es más exacto y resistente un Casio.
Precision is everything it seems. I see at 7 minutes and 45 seconds Philippe has an extra "P" in the name caption lower left. Hmmm.
And what is the expensive features?
It is not fully hand made, they r using 75%modern machine ,but they r pricing more.
Got here because of mayweather, wealthy people aspire to at least own one, crazy that this boxer is the owner of at least 18 of these.
Given a choice I'd take a Daniels over one of these but alas I can scarcely afford neither.
Admiro a los suizos, como le sacan el dinero a los ricos, parece que hacen una nave espacial y solo es un reloj.
A view from the UK. I just love the way this video keeps referring to Rolex for comparison. Could Rolex be their main competitor?.....NO!
Many will never understand the price or the amount of time and skill required to make that amazing watch. Just think of it like modern art and if you have to ask how much it's way above your pay grade.
And way way above the level of narcissistic snobbery.
@@nickacelvn if one can afford this thing then this is most likely a round off error in their earnings. Btw...rich folks try not to own anything...this would be owned by their company and somehow be made into a depreciating asset that gets written off.
simplesmente magnifico jamais eu terei um porque sou pobre infelismente
La folie
Are his hands insured ?
Beautiful watches but I'll stick with seiko and orient and my casio
This watch and the God himself wear !!!
God would not be so vulgar or ostentatious!
Amazing engineering and craftsmanship . But the watch is just to dam big. You would look like some tasteless rapper with that alarm clock on your wrist.
elle coute trop chere mais le ptobleme pas de precision c est sa le probleme
can not beat a Casio.....
Music does not match the video!
Time is a dead god Thoth 🌹🌚👍 Rest in the good news 🌹 Okay bye
Compare this vdo with Watchfinders.............Fanta c/w Moet Chandon or better!

SWANK very SWANK
Hold on, 50.000 watches per year and it is takes 12 monts for the craftsman to build one of them. Is that means Patek have 50.000 craftsmas? This is bloody big factory. Almost like in China.
Agata Agata - 47 New Kalashnikov Model
HAIL CASIO
Because of complexity they can no longer create a second watch with the same style😃😃😃..
Please review the output of 50,000 watches in a year. IMHO you SERIOUSLY need to adjust that number.
According to CNN, that figure isn't far off..They've also only made less than a million since the company was founded.
Who knew Zedd and or Elley Duhé (Happy Now, starts at 4:30) worked at Patek Philippe?
"Patek Phillipe" 🤣
I can buy a Seiko Quartz for $600 and I don't have to wind it, the battery will last for years and it will be 100 times more accurate

Все сложно, технологично, дорого... но, какое же сказочное жлобство. Носить на руке такого монстра это не просто кич, а суперкич.
My brother has allot of Patel, they all stay in the safe until sold.
Kinda sad.
