You could get some fuel tablets to use in your wood stove for the morning cuppa and heat up some soup. They're a bit fierce for proper cooking but nice and quick for boiling stuff.
mate, I make my own fire lighters call them disco burgers lol. get those cotton wool pads candle wax and perrolium jelly. rub the cotton pads with perrolium jelly then drop them into a pot of hot melting wax allow to cover the whole pad for a few seconds then remove and allow to dry. completely waterproof fire starter., when fully set break the pad exposing the fibres which are covered in perrolium jelly and use fero rod or lighter and instant fire lighter. cheap and cheerful and 100%. waterproof as well
Vasaline wax pads work great as fire lighters or the alternate pine pitch .great content, brother.God bless you and your family and happy camping 🏕 😀 😊 🙏. Lee
Got a 14cm wide Lixada version of that stove, it's great. Tip: it fits well inside of the 14cm Zebra pot - The Bushcraft Store sell them along with custom metal lid-clamps that avoids you melting the normal silly white plastic clips.
Its a decent tarp, i got one and camped near buttermere with it, one of the toggle holes came off but with a needle and thread i did a field repair and it held up even in the horrendous wind and rain.
Another great video! As already suggested in the comments, the vasaline and wax, cotton pads work great. By the way, what weather app are you using? Atvb. Take care, Steve. 👍👍
I got it offline here’s the video I did on it I linked the shop I got it from in the description of this video hope it helps ua-cam.com/video/iewAV1QcB9I/v-deo.htmlsi=9ZI_pNs-wZ2hH2p8

BRS 3000T titanium micro gas stove. 28 grams. No ignition, not good in wind. Fine for good conditions and sheltered camps. It's tiny.
Ali Express.
Gonna look this up Ty mate
Orange candles can help.
Thanks will look in to them
Love your enthusiasm. Cheap gear just doesn’t work for me.
You can stuff yhe tarp into its carry sack, same as the sleeping bag.
Good idea Ty
fill your trash bag with dry leaves and use under your sleep mat for warmth
Good tip ty
