- Sion hears the news of the death of the Jedi exile and The surving Jedi masters at the hand of Kreia, he goes to see Nihilus to end their Alliance once in for all. Needless to say, The Lord of Hunger doesn't take kindly of it.

I miss these days so much :(. I can't stand how anything that's KOTOR related is just cast aside and rarely even acknowledged or brought up in discussions today.
I agree , the kotor games are my favorite RPGs as well as the best Star Wars games ever , they really explore the Jedi and Sith philosophy’s , heck Kera even prophets about papatine and Anakin skywalker . Truly the best Star Wars games ever made .

The KOTOR games have interesting stories and characters, but theyre not good for the canon. Too much OP video game shit added to the force. Nihilus being able to consume entire planets with the force is lame and over the top edgy. Sion keeping his destroyed and rotting body alive by sheer hatred and the dark side is also lame and edgy, but also pretty cringe. I understand enjoying these games, and enjoying the lore as a kid. I just dont think any of it fits well into the star wars universe, and does damage to the lore and canon worse than Disney does, but Disney is doing their best to change that.
Because than y'all would complain about the live action version not being good enough

however, I would like them to do season 2 to not leave the story in the air and maybe have more scenes with Darth Plague, I liked it more than the last trilogy with Rey maybe if it was made only by star wars without disney it wouldn't have received so much hate, I mean the Acolyte anyway the sith and the battle scenes are cool

People don't even understand what they could have had.
With sion, you have a sith who is literally holding his body together with the force. Sion lives on a nuclear bombed out planet on the edge of space filled with insane monsters.
With Nihilus, you have a sith who literally feeds on entire planets to feed and grow his power. Lives on a bombed out old republic starship with only Nihilus keeping it intact.
And then you get fucking Kylo Ren.
I just noticed, the 2 assassins that talk to Sion, look very much like Starkillers sith armor variant from Force Unleashed

Ah good old Kotor , probably some of the best SW games ever , rich in story and gameplay , graphics sucks comparing todays standard but still brings back good memories from a time when games were worth playing without all the bugs and DLC shit we see today , i have a windows 98/windows xp machine just for playing the old games i bought i my teens 25 years ago and its still working yay , have a nice day all :)

Inaccurate to imply Nihilus “mastered the force”. If anything, it mastered him. He had authority over nothing. Just an empty vessel for pure uncontrolled cosmic disruption

KOTOR is my favorite version of star wars universe. Especially KOTOR 2 has incredibly immersive world building. The galaxy feels both super bleak but also mysterious and makes you want to explore it even further.
I realize theres a lot of nostalgia surrounding the star wars movies, and I really do like the original trilogy. But nothing holds a candle to what Bioware and then Obsidian created. In my opinion, that is.
It's also not your typical "black and white" morality you usually see in SW. It's a shame KoTOR2 wasn't properly polished, the mods help a lot but you have to wonder what else Obsidian wanted to do with this game. In any case I still consider it better than the first one (which was still incredibly good).
Darth Bane is my favorite Sith. Honestly however, I believe that Darth Nihilus would kick his ass.
Nihilus is only strong because of a singular ability. You van be immune to force drain like Surik. You can train yourself to be resistant to it. If you are strong in the force like Yoda or Mace, you can resist the effects.
Force lightning would have been such a nice addition to jedi survivor

@@PatternLand SPOILERS: Not really but he falls to the dark a bit, not fully embracing it but makes for good lore and gameplay
I have a feeling we may get it in the final installment of the series, after cal tapped into the darkside in survivor he has certainly strayed from the traditional jedi path. He's starting to share similar traits to kyle katarn, light side user but uses dark side abilities if needed.

Nihilius was pretty even with sion. He certainly wasnt on the level of the best sith ever like vitiate or sidious.

Under what conditions does this cutscene trigger? I assume you have to kill the Jedi masters (which I didn't on my single playthrough), and then what?

It's two of them, actually. One for the skin itself and one that replaces the in-game models with said skin.

Right after your character was believed to be killed, this was supposed to play
In the original draft for Nar Shadaa the Exile would meet a representative of the GenoHaradan in the Jekk Jekk Tarr instead of Visquis, the Jekk Jekk Tarr would get blown up, and the Exile would be presumed dead for a while. That's what would have triggered this cutscene. After Nar Shadaa was rewritten and the GenoHaradan removed it had nowhere to go.
