As a Bass player and Dennis Dunaway being my 2nd favorite bass player my pick is the title track .. Billion Dollar Babies. Love the bass lines in this tune.
The opening guitars for Hello Hooray still gives me goose bumps.
Alice Cooper! The original band is my all time favorite! Remember the Coop!
Yea gorra agree, after Muscle of Love, with Alice finishing up with the band, I sort of lost some interest with his solo stuff
@@user-pf4xo7je4sme too...only the original Alice Cooper band for me...
@@user-pf4xo7je4s Absolutely. There’s great albums there but the Alice Cooper band was something uniquely special.
Yes i Remember that kind of intimacy and i Hope to feel It again❤❤❤
Hi
Billion Dollar Babies by Alice Cooper was the first vinyl album I bought back in 1973. On the same day I got David Bowie's Aladdin Sane. Being 11 years old ......
Man ..... I was proud.
Take care.
3:49 We flipped the script! the TRILLION DOLLAR EDITION is available as a 2CD and 3LP - many thanks to @dimebagdave77 for catching the error
W!
I remember buying the album when it came out. I love most of the songs on it.
1973,74..i was 13 learning rock guitar..bdbs was worn out..3 times..then youd get the 8 track..continuous 24 hour Alice...billion dollar babies title track is the hardest slickest northern usa music there is..cuts ...cuts anything in its way..when i got that down i was the guitar player on the scene....a teens life in 70s..rock and rock...genuine choice usa
Alice Coopers Schools Out was the first album I ever bought. I was hooked and bought every album Alice ever made.
Dear Rhino, remember that the singer Vince Fournier became Alice Cooper and was the singer of the ALICE COOPER BAND. This álbum had those great musicians like Michael Bruce, Dennis Dunawway, Neal Smith, Vince Fournier and Glen Buxton (partially) worked, created, and played very well on the whole tracks as a Band, under the Bob Ezrin production really the 6th element of the band. Of course the singer was involved as "protagonist" due a marketing Strategy.
Generation Landslide. A great song on a brilliant album. My first Alice Cooper concert was the Billion Dollar Babies tour at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island. An amazing show!
It's a brilliant album! Great video maybe billion dollar babies is my favorite hard to say, all the songs are great.
Seen him last year he's only gotten better with age...thank u ALICE
Without a shadow of a doubt it has to be 'Generation Landslide'. I absolutely, totally LOVE that song. Simply superb.
The bass wahwah fuzz exclusive solo in the middle of Unfinished Sweet that leads into the molar being dropped into a glass of water sound…
I have to say "I love the dead" was probably the most ethereal song ever. Creepy but compelling at the same time
A complete masterpiece
Best cut, in my opinion is
‘Hello Hooray’
Dear Rhino, this year, pls do a 50th of Muscle of Love.
Alice made me a better songwriter & my best year 1987,many hits for many bands.
Sick Things! Absolutely surreal and beautiful! Unfinished Sweet! I Love The Dead! Maryanne! The whole record is perfect!
The best Alice Cooper song is which ever one i'm listening to.
Love it the death..my favorite lp..and when I saw him in mobile Alabama live..really blew me away..go alice
Elected: "I'm your top prime cut of meat, I'm your choice,
I wanna be elected,
I'm your yankee doodle dandy in a gold Rolls Royce,
I wanna be elected,
Kids want a savior, don't need a fake,
I wanna be elected ..." True then, true now! ❣️❣️❣️
I would love to buy the Billion Dollar Babies 3LPs, but it's too expensive for me. 😞The same with the 3LP-Set releases of School's Out and Killer. Too expensive. But i am happy for all the people who could buy those releases. Enjoy the great music! 🙂
You are making me feel old dude, I love trivia thank you so much
Dark Side Of The Moon🔥✨ classic

Rock God Timeless talent beyond reproach
My brother stole my copy of this album in the late 80ties. ! He has probably sold it. And yes, it had the big dollar bill in it.
Manythnx Rhino🤘 edit: dude, are you sure its not a 3 LP?
Dude.... you're right! Thanks for keeping us honest
Super 👍
❤
Fvk yeah!
OMG
Those guys were from Phoenix...then later moved to Detroit after living in Los Angeles for awhile... Alice likes to portray himself as a Detroit band... though they formed in Arizona...
Cooper was actually born in Detriot, moved as a child to AZ,yes but it was when the band moved to Detriot that everything came together for them.
@@lonniegrey5894 yeah... I think he moved to Phoenix when little... because he had health problem or something...don't know if any of the original guys were actually born in Arizona...just grew up there...
The band bought an old farmhouse in Lake Orion Michigan on Jam road. I moved to Lake Orion from Royal Oak and later found this information out. Not far from the house was the Clinton Valley Mental Institution in Pontiac. The place was run down, and very creepy! They talk about opening the barn doors and playing for the patients in jest I am sure. Anyhow, this is covered in the bonus material in the Super Dupper Alice Cooper film in the bonus outtakes of the DVD. Bob Ezerin came out to meet them at the farmhouse and describes the band tripping on LSD and they had a pet monkey. Surreal as it can get!
@@mvm5375 cool ! Thanks for the special info/details... love the original band...I was devastated when they broke up... affected me for years...😐
💯👀👏👏👏
That would be 51 years then, not 50, 1973 was 51 years ago. How is this not being released until March 2024, but there's already people selling it on eBay, and FYE is already selling it, everyone's selling it for like 150 bucks or more, but the original is only selling for like 75 bucks. 🤔
I know Warners/Rhino did a double deluxe cd remaster around 2001, this sounds like the same to me, only they do say newly remasterd....who knows, but would also dig a Love It To Death and Muscle Of Love deluxe as well.
P.S. there is also a SACD HYBRID CD of the Warner/Rhino Archives
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Its freaking 90€
Saludos rhino
Probably,. Cold ethyl
👁️ A Greed
Some of it was great but some was very disturbing.I stopped being a die hard fan.
Weak rhino! The same release from the early 2000s with a few single edits? Super disappointed
Dead Babies
Wrong album. That's from Killer.
So much BS in the world. Re write that song for 2024. But ask the Marley"s
My naighbours had a framed color poster of rockers money
