@@Je.rone_ I've seen this card mechanic before. There is something else unique about him that I don't the Patrick Bet David mentioned. Watch the video closely and you might guess what it is.
Reminds me of when I was a kid. My uncle use to take the cards and tell me a story with them. As he told the story while shuffling, all 4 cards {ie Queens, 7, 10} would come off the deck at the appropriate point in the story.
That’s known as same the bell hop. As a magician myself I don’t use it lot as it’s mainly used for kids, but it’s so cool hearing that your uncle actually took time to learn that.
This person appears to be blind in the manner at which he looks into space. Edit: This man is, in fact, blind as my suspicions saught out more to who Mr. Turner is. My gut feeling that he is blind was correct. And that makes what he does even more amazing.
@GunsAndPoker ...You are correct. Although what you don't know about me is that 1) I care less about looking at thumbnails as all of the UA-cam videos I view are in my inbox and I do not look at them at all. And 2) The word "Blind" in the title of the thumbnail could have another meaning besides telling the viewer that it literally is about a blind person.
@@GucciCoochie38e7hde ...That was what I was thinking also when I first watched it. But it just seemed to "off". Which is why I speculated on him being blind in my original post.
That's why only fools go to the casino. Watch the full interview and he explains how he was asked to deal for multiple casinos for really good pay. You think he's the only card mechanic? There are tons in casinos all over the world taking everyones money. The odds are always for the house otherwise casinos wouldn't be a multi billion dollar business.
@@bobsimpson9228 I listened to the whole interview...my comment was more for others to jog their thoughts..I dont do casinos for the reasons you gave..if only left to odds it would be more fair
This guy uses shaved cards-- that is one edge of a pack is tapered in width , only a 0.5 mm but enough with practice to be able to 'feel' them all back into order. So much of his ;showmanship is the same 'incredible ( but not really) ability to put them back in order . He cannot do his 'performance' with standard new off the shelf packs .. Just watch his hands as he 'feels' the slight change in width and repositions them back to shape . Cute stuff .
this is one of my all time favourite valuetainment videos
So he is blind but how does he knows the colors and what if a card is upside-down??? How does he knows the difference between colors!?!
*this seems like a lucrative skill to have*
It is a dangerous skill to have .
Imagine the consequences of being caught during a real game
