Hi there doctor really appreciate you sharing your knowladge for brunnstorm approch . I have question What if he has impaired sensation ( pressure and propproceptive.. ) what should we do ? Should we start facilation techniques to regain motor control and reduce spastcity or to work on improving sensation first then with facilation techniques? Or both And if so how can we improve the sensation?! Thanks
First of thanks for your valuable support by becoming a Physioclassroom premium member ❤️ Very nice question has been put by you and a therapist must first always assess and address the sensory issues in a stroke patient before jumping on to motor training. In such patients with impaired sensory inputs, sensory reeducation program should be administered which comprises of strategies on re-educating the ability to feel and discriminate sensory inputs. You can read in detail about it in research articles. More future studies are required in this field.
Hello dear 😊 Thanks for watching and supporting Physioclassroom ❤️ Just trying to learn and share with my fellow Physios 🙏 Nice to hear your appraising words💕
Sir my patient had haemorrhagic stroke 6 month ago and he is complete bed ridden and not oriented. He does not respond to any pain stimulus but flexes his knee joint of normal side when i give pnf stretch on affected upper limb So what is his prognosis according to gcs and how can i make him oriented Please help me sir
Thanks for another great video but I couldn't find any video of how to improve sensory perception in patients, because motor learning is impossible without it, can u please share intervention on how to improve sensation ?
Sir, what is the difference between kinesthesia and proprioceptive sensation?? These two terms are same or meant for different meanings?? Please explain.
Awareness of joint movement in space is kinesthesia and awareness of joint position in space is proprioception. Is my joint moving? ( kinesthesia) Where is my joint positioned? ( Proprioception)
All of your videos are amazingly informative. I try to follow all applied techniques and activities .. Thanks sir for sharing it. They are really helpful..
Good afternoon sir!! If you get time please make a video on neuro assessment/ pediatrics assessment/ ortho assessment , I'm facing lot's of problem regarding this .. there is lot of confusion regarding assessment perfoma ,not clear vision regarding which sequence to used , both subjective and objective examination parts are not cleared (theroy part is clear , absolutely know which questions has to be ask but when it's come to practice , practical exam I feel i don't know anything and going to do a blunder in exam) assessment parts feels so scary to me , hope you will tell me a solution on this ...thank you so much!!
Will make a video in sensory re-education later. Thanks for your valuable suggestion😊 Do share our channel videos with your contacts and help us in reaching out to maximum number of people ❤️
