I've been rewatching Smallville season 1 this week & every single time Chloe comes on screen I'm just like I can't believe this is the same girl that came up with the idea for branding people (supposedly that was her touch, he initially wanted to just tattoo them and she came up with the branding idea) & did all this!! She seemed so sweet, at least back then, but I think that was before she was in the cult though because the other actress who played Lana Lang joined at first but got out of it quick. Still it's almost insane. My boyfriend mentions it every time she's on screen too. It's just insane & crazy how brainwashing really works & that people would join a group like this no matter what they think it is in the beginning
