Eric is crazy, he goes even slower than the Doctor, cannot even imagine the burn. I have started to go slower, but no way I ever gonna even try to go that slow, that's for mentally stronger people. I am still proud of my intensity compared to myself, how I went in the past, which was basically "why do you even lift?" level.
it makes sense for his level of strength. If I tried to go this super slow I would end up benching 50 kg and not gaining a whole lot lol you need to find balance between control on descend, pauses and still progressing on lifts.
That's why it's calling progressive overload. If after weeks you still bench same 50kg with that control definitely you do something wrong. Having so much control over descent makes you stronger not other way around. @@pritok6

Eric's reps are absolute insanity. It could be seen as a form of torture to make someone do reps like these with these huge pauses in the stretched position. But for how strong he is, decreasing the weight needed will be really beneficial to his long term joint health for sure.

Learned a lot that I’m going to use. The hand and arm change in position under weight was enlightening in building size. I’ll have to reduce the weight, but I want the size. Eric, you’re so fn smart and your size proves it.
