Thomas Delauer is such a clean cut type channel to see him get so much instruction and be subjected to so many dirty jokes makes this video extra hilarious
He’s also a scammer or at least was…..
@@Wildkoala1 why? i have followed him for a couple years and didn't notice any scams. except that people confuse him with vshred.
@@Wildkoala1 are you confusing him with vshredz also?
@@festaazulhe used to push a bunch of nonsense for years got rich and now recently has made a switch to evidence based stuff without the nonsense
You could tell he was awkward with it all XD Such a nice guy
"Convincing throat touch every time." Dr. Mike pickup lines
Dr. Mike's Patented Throat Crushers (TM)
"Youre really good on your knees" is CRIMINAL WORK
I don’t think he caught that at the time, but the real ones heard it
Thomas is way more disciplined than most of the guys you ve trained
And he loved it lol
It’s because of this obscure compound that was tested on untrained Himalayas brown rats that showed a 5000 % increase in testosterone if taken before bed…
give me some test and i'll show you how disciplined i am
@@billybobs1705 are you trying to disparage the achievements of the people in this video just because they use steroids? You could be on the exact same substances and doses as these guys and not look anywhere near as good given sufficient time. Jealousy is unattractive, my friend.
@@billybobs1705 Keep telling yourself that buddy. Keep deflecting your problems and not taking responsibility. You'd be a king of the world if you only had that one thing.
looks fucking brutal.
Mr. Delauer did a great job using all of your cues too. His arms look massive with the pump in the end holy
yeah the difference from the begining to end of the size of his arms def makes this workout very convincing
That pump is f**king insane! Makes me wanna try out that workout
"Nobody said stop mother f$#&er" Mike and Jared are awesome. You know it is to get your best not hurt your feelings. Thomas is a haus and smart af. Like seeing the collaboration
no it's to hurt your feelings!
Good to see V-shred recognizing the existence of small creators.
Goated comment 😂
😂
💀
Kek ... Lol nice!!!
Made me LoL. Great reference
This guy's forearm extensors are insane
I thought the same thing!!!
You mean the tricep or wrist extensor?
@@Zhihkohe probably meant what he said
@@rockyevans1584😂
@@rockyevans1584 i think the question is valid
only* the triceps extends the forearm, never seen "forearm extensors" as substitute
unless he meant the muscles _on_ the forearm which do extending, which would be the wrist/finger extensors
"Why does the stretch trigger so much hypertrophy?" "Something, something, Rhonda Patrick." 😂
Even got Thomas Delauer on your channel. You get all the cool people on your channel
I think anyone who is serious about their training and recognizes they can learn something from Dr. Mike would take the offer to come on to the channel, instantly.
Collaboration boosts everyones channels. So it makes totalt sense to do for all.. Even people like Thomas
Please go invite Greg Doucette
@@reeanimationgaming1034 I love listening to Thomas. Man is a wealth of knowledge
Hey Dr. Mike, I’m a beginner (slightly over a month of consistent training) and your videos have been helping me a shit ton. Today I was watching one of the glute workout tips videos where you talked about putting it all out there and giving every set all you’ve got, and it really motivated me so I worked my ass off on leg day (almost puked in the middle of lifetime after Bulgarian split squats). Going to keep that mentality for every set moving forward. I think my biggest takeaway is that less is more if you make the most of it (no cheat reps, no junk volume, full effort on every set, focusing on technique, no ego lifting). I can only bench 14 reps of 85 lbs but I gotta start somewhere! Getting my noob gains going and I’ll put the plates on with time. Thanks.
Hell yeah brother
Stay strong, focused, and disciplined, brother. Let every other bro in ur gym ego lift & cheat reps. You make em count, and be proud of that!
Dont quit, your future self will be proud.
As a beginner, you don't have to push yourself that hard yet. May want to consider keeping in the 3 RIR range until you start to plateau. As long as your weight and/or reps per set are going up each week (and it will for a while as a noobie) there's no reason to push that hard yet. Save those tricks for when gaining gets harder, because eventually it will, and you don't want to desensitize yourself while the gains are easy. Plus pushing that hard as a beginner increases your injury risk for no reason. Just my 2 cents as a MSK doctor that has been training for 20+ years.
Love the motivation! But don't forget to take your deloads if you need them. Dr. Mike has some great vids on that too if you don't know what I'm talking about. May Brodin bless you with mighty gains on your whey to swolehalla!
DeLauer is a humble dude. Dr. Mike is a great trainer 👌
My fav quote from a coach was "Why are you looking at the floor, there's no paycheck down there"
Awesome to see both of my inspirational, educational favorites kicking it together! 1 year of working out, I am off all meds, including type 2 diabetes. A1C from 7.8 down to 4. 64 y/o 5'8" from 245 to 168lbs 15% bf. Three old shoulder surgeries with a bicep tendinosis and two knee surgeries, acl and meniscus repairs...Thank you both for your videos and knowledge. I watch everything. Lifting weights have changed my life!
06:05 "nobody say stop motherf*cker" - gold!!! 😅
This is probably the best trio for sports, training and nutrition science in the world. Keep up the great work all of You. :D
1.6M subs guys - damn this growth is really ramping up
That’s ‘cause they go slow on the eccentric
They were just pausing at the bottom, now they explode to the top.
They keep adding subs slow, as if another ...
Really happy to have come across RP and Dr. Mike. Thanks for the gains
Arm day for me....great timing! Best channel on the Tube!!
Tom get beat up on the internet quite a bit, but I really like the dude. He seems like a super nice guy and works very hard at everything he does.... and humble enough to admit when he gets it wrong.
I'll always have a soft spot for him since I watched his guides on intermittent fasting to lose a lot of fat as part of my original lifestyle change into fitness five years ago.
Hearing him swear in this video was a treat lmao
I learn something new from you guys every time you upload. THANK YOU.
Thank you RP you have changed the way I work out and it’s definitely for the better
Been following both your channels for a long time and got a lot of great advice from each one of you. Awesome to see you collaborate! I bet there's hella outtakes in this one that Thomas didn't want in the final cut.
Thomas killed it~ great collab
These two are absolutely fabulous.
I would have them help me any day of the week.
Fantastic channel
👍🇬🇧
I think simply the idea behind why contracting the muscle in the most stretched position creates more muscle (motor units) is because it’s in it most disadvantaged position, so it has to work extremely hard to get the limbs to move, harder than if it wasn’t in the stretched position
*recruits more motor units* and yes, that’s a good hypothesis
I'm so happy that this channel is taking off and getting all the "celeb" collabs and getting the recognition it deserves.
I'm just jealous because I've been watching this channel since Mike had hair
Best RP video yet. Good collab.
Thanks for the Update it was a nice upgrade!!!!!!
These guest workout sessions always gets me pumped to start my workout!
My two favorite channels. Thanks to everyone here for helping me change my life
My two favorite content creators one video. I love the nutrition discussion too 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great tip in the skull crushers! My elbowsl appreciate it!
Yess, as I have aged, and due to a nerve issue in my left arm, I have found traditional form hurts like a motherfucker and this is golden tips for me
My wrist doesn't appreciate this exercise so much so i just use wrist straps to mitigate it coz this one just nukes my triceps though i think i got my golfers elbow with this exercise coz i was training while stupid coz the dude that called me weak in the gym was there so i slammed 40lbs x 2 on the bar and went to town with it. Good times. Was the injury worth it? Mixed reaction for it coz i loved the look on everyone's faces but i couldn't do proper push movement for a whole 2 months and would i do it again? God i hope not but no promises.
It was 98% JM Press.
This was the best video thus far I’ve watched with Tom and the other dedicated friends of his. Damn!!! This is a great example of putting in the work to make gains.
Please do more videos with Thomas. 2 great channels coming together 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks, I think this video was perrrfect.
Thomas is so chill and down to earth, even though he's like a walking encyclopedia of nutrition. I've been watching his channel for years ♥️
Awesome ! 🔥
really love his training style.. i wish we had more trainers like dr mike
Love this colab ❤
So satisfying to see how well he followed instruction
Always learning new things from this channel ❤
I'm a big fan of both channels. What a nice colab! I was sore after the first few minutes of watching this, lol! Great job, boyz! 💪🏾
Thomas is a good dude, love his channel, he's the one that got me curious about keto.. him and goody beats gave me lots of tips.
Awesome collab guys! I’m a long time follower of Thomas, just recently of yours and would love to see more collabs in the future, Big cheers from Portugal!
Thomas is the man
impressive work by tom. he lookin good as hell
That's very useful, thank you.
Great video! Now I'd like to see Dr. Mike do a Thomas Delauer workout.
I love Tom. So nice to see him on my favorite channel!! You are great together
Great collaboration!!!
His arms ballooned from start to finish 💪💪
I'm here to 👏Thomas D. More exercises on your channel - that's what we need!
That arm workout looks crazy I will definitely be trying it out 💯💯💪🏾💪🏾
i would love more videos like this to see Dr. Mike coaching someone in a workout. It's great to see the workouts in action. We all need a coach like Dr. Mike haha
excellent work
Thomas getting it in dudes a beast
This workout looks like a ton of fun
Gonna do it later this week
Love it when my favorite channels collaborate together!

Perfect todays my arm day, I’ll try this now
I love TD he is the goat
This content is literally the best
Gained ~20 lbs of muscle in a shade under 5 months using RP fundamentals. Good stuff guys. Slow and controlled 💪
Brutal session!
Love the JM press
Upon bringing myself back into the world of lifting after a near 20 year hiatus, I have subjected myself to hundreds of different channels. The two I subscribe to and watch every episode of is Dr. Mike's RP and Thomas Delauer. It was good to see them working together and it reinforced my confidence in who I've chosen to learn from! And the comic relief of Dr.Mike is always a good laugh! Would love to train with him someday! Thanks to you both for your effort and time to share your k owledge and experience!
Seems like you've got a good eye for deciphering bullshit. Toss a few Jeff Nipples Nipard in there to round some stuff out and you're getting all the media you can ask for on the latest science.
Oh my heckin sciencerino!!!
@@mybootscamewithoutstraps How about Menno?
@@AuRevoirTune oh he's great, I just don't seek out his content at this time.
@@AuRevoirTune just added Menno a few days ago after seeing him on RP! Good stuff!
This is the best video on how to grow muscle that I have ever seen. Thank you for showing me everything I need to know, and I will use these techniques, as I have not been training hard enough to reach my full potential.
But, they are leaving the drug aspect out of the equation.
Thomas is such a cool dude.
Thomas is super professional, I feel like Dr Mike should be getting trained by him
Tom is my dude! Good seeing him cutting loose n training. Badass
Epic set!
Your best video so far
Dude's arms are totally pumped after this session. it sure does work great!
I've stopped watching Thomas's channel, but im glad he's doing well.
Great to see the effort and listening to the subtleties of the exercises in form.
Great video. 👍🙏😊
Same. After buying a lot of shit he was Hawking years ago and seeing his hard pivot, I really don't care to watch his content anymore. I have always been interested in his workouts though since he has a really good physique. Cool to see him. Lay it all out on the table here!
They're only 4 years apart in age but look 15 years apart
Brutal workout! 🫠🔥🔥🔥💪
I think Thomas has fun cutting loose with Dr. Mike, their recent interviews were as entertaining as they were informative👍🏻
Hilarious video!! Great workout! How Thomas didn’t laugh while near failure was awesome. Great job!! Fans of both.
Cheeeee hooooooo! Can’t wait to try this out tomorrow! Thomas one of my favs… this channel is my new fav.. let’s get it people 🥳💯👊🏾💪🏾🌴❤️
I’m watching this and I’m thinking of the teenager I see at the gym strutting around, zipping through squats where he’s dropping less than halfway and goes to 455 in like 4 minutes, almost not resting. These little bunny squats and silly fast.Nobody likes when someone tells them they look ridiculous but it was epic to watch.
I appreciate these slow and painful routines. Thank you!
A lot of the times when I'm doing finishers or supplemental work I just sit there and close my eyes and think of Mike telling me "slow, slow, slow; as if another; slow, slow, slow, slow; as if another"
I can now add “no on said stop mfer” yo the list of mike lines
"as if another" has become a voice in my head as well. Works very well indeed.
Me too! Caught myself doing that yesterday working quads, slow slow slow, it’s not as easy as you’d think!
@@indieluvbug1 none of us wanna disappoint Dr Mike so it is a must doing hard things 😅 good job 🤜🤛
Delauer makes this brutal workout look easy....dude got steel cables for triceps....respect.👍
I expect to get cleared to workout next week(bicep tendon repair surgery) with a 25-35lb weight limit so this video is so perfectly timed for me. My right arm has lost so much size the last few months while recovering
I absolutely love the training style and coaching of these two dudes

❤❤❤
This looks sooo good. I'm trying it for sure
I stubbornly avoided trying skull crushers they way you guys show them, but once I tried it I was sold soooo fast. It’s so much easier for me to get a consistent great stretch this way
Legendary collab 🤘🤘🤘
My fav YT channel!
good stuff you guys
I will be utilizing this workout my on arm day !! 💪
Killer video. Props for Thomas and of course Mike and his biological son Jared
Great workout ty guys
Mike’s devious laughter throughout makes this so much more entertaining
I've been getting back into shape after 5years of inactivity. I'm doing lightweight and the slow controlled release if that's what eccentric means. make the rep count! love it!
Good job guys !
Finally a tip about helping the skullcrushers not killing the elbows. Might be able to add them in now
Awesome you had Thomas on, hes one of my favorites..
Excellent
Good to have a spot on those "airway crushers" 💪. It would be amazing working out with those boys.
Finally the 3 arm workout that I’ve been needing
Excellent video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOVE IT
