The Grimdelvers aren't actually using grudge rakers, they use acual blunderbusses. You can check that they only fire once per volley instead of twice like the grudge rakers
The Grimdelvers have Stalk, which was the main reason why Valkia got blammed.
So glad to see new units actually influence the meta without being OP

What is funny about the Grim delvers is they actually have a slightly lower fireate then standard Thunderers with Grudge Rakers. Despite being an RoR
I think valkia going for the cannon instead of the ror thunderer was the game losing move
I do hope Khorne and Slannesh + ogres are the next DLC, there roster needs a bit more flavour and Khorne definitely need some buffs.
On their old roadmap the next DLC is gonna be Slaanesh plus two factions, after that it'll probably be khorne.
I doubt they'll do two demon factions in one go, although I agree they need it.
@@user-ll4rb8wc1r Hopefully they give us some news on what they plan on doing next. I felt like I was one of the few people that just wanted ToD to be done & over with because I was excited for Slaanesh. Hell even if it's Khorne over Slaanesh I'll be happy. Give my melee factions some love already!

One idea I have for Khorne buffs is to add Permanent Immune to Psychology and Fuelled By Rage (which is actually listed as a common passive ability despite being literally owned by like 3 units lmao) to the Mark of Khorne to make the marked units actually last longer in combat when Frenzy is down

What are WoC supposed to do in this matchup if they lose both the melee and range infantry game while cannons decimate anything large you bring. Not complaining, just trying to learn.
Fr, like I’m trying to think and maybe some hounds to skirmish? Or maybe some Khorne dual weapon infantry? Maybe chaos knights wouldn’t have been a terrible choice since they could grind in melee with doomseekers but then regular slayers could beat them

I think the horsemen was a mistake, probably should have taken some of the new furies. Maybe even Slaanesh Furies as a niche tech to rip the artillery and the Thunderers to shreds.
With shields and armor, the Horsemen don't do much to make their money back.
Think they have a place in the matchup for killing slayers, the Dwarf player did a good job screening them out with thunders. Needed more hounds to shut down missiles so the horsemen could work.
Warriors of Chaos cannot take Furies.

If I remember correctly he is the only runecaster LL. If you want to use Runes but don't want to pay for a hero, use Ironbrow.

Decent stats, rune magic and anvil of doom ability for a big army wide melee attack buff. Thorek is the most bang for your buck.

Seems like nowadays you should always bring Bjuna to Dawi matchaup - nothing else can stop the doomseekers looks like

valkia always feels so insanely weak, even against large target generic lords. :/
Turin I think you're overhyping doomseekers. 1350 gold, supposedly anty infantry unit, that's good only for clearing trash and some of the mid level infantry does not sound like a good investment. They'll loose against any high tier infantry (black orcs, chosen, swordmasters, exalted daemonettes etc.). They'll even get mowed down by offensive specced mid tier infantry like forsaken or savage orc big uns. They get crushed by strong cavalry (knights of blazing sun, chaos knights), but suprisingly can hold their own and win against monstrous units (demigryphs, dragon ogres, etc.)
I think they suffer from not being able to kill unit models fast enough And that's because CA gave them splash damage (remember the curse of hammerers?), which also could explain why they can fight against monstrous units (splash is not used against those, just straight damage).
So many OP things in this dlc. Empire got the Landship and Elspeth. Dwarfs got the Thunderbarge and grudge-rakers. Nurgle got...Noxbringer
Poor Val here is really struggling with Nurgle :( Send him some pest and love.

At the very least Nurgle became a lot more fun in campaign. Dwarfs are now just frustrating in campaign now, though, imo

I don't think Grudge Rakers are any more powerful than Blunderbusses or Iron Hails
another DLC, another batch of broken and obviusly OP units. Unfortunately, this game is geting worse with each patch
The ridiculous shooting firepower nowadays is so difficult for melee reliant factions to deal with. Spam ranged vs khorne/chaos/slaanesh/nurgle and it's auto win
Dwarfs are insufferable in this patch. Automatic dodge whenever my opponent picks them. P2W at its finest.
