I’m so glad you got some great information out of it!… I always find that the skinner blend can be vexing for some people and so having more than one way to go about it really does help in my mind. Again, thank you and sending you my biggest of hugs!🤗👍🏻❤️
I agree with Duane- This is mind blowing- I have been claying for years and have NEVER been able to make a decent blend...until now! I LOVE you! Hugs to you too!
OMGEEE BEE!! LOLOL!! Bless your little heart!! Thank you so much for that, Robin!! I am thrilled this is giving you a way to not only do the skinner blend, but to do it with satisfaction!! And I love you too, lady!! I hope you will continue to find the videos I put out here helpful...Sending you my biggest of hugs!! :)
This is a fantastic way to update the skinner blend! I can't believe I am just now seeing this for the first time. 😳 😮 I have always off set my triangles to get more pure color on both ends.
Oh my gosh, you are so very welcome!! I am thrilled that you loved the video and hope that it will be very helpful and useful in any polymer clay project you are in the process of creating!!! Sending you my big hugs your way!! :)
So this is the Skinner-Schiller blend ? Try saying that 5 times in a row. A really useful way of having more control over the colours. Thank you for sharing Laura..
LOLOLOL!!! Allison, you are most welcome!! And what a huge compliment!! I just hope it helps others doing the Skinner Blend. But, thank you, lady!! And sending you my hugs! :)
Pela primeira vez eu consegui fazer ! Já havia desistido de tentar. Muito obrigada por transmitir oq temos de mais valor no mundo q é o conhecimento e o tempo. Gratidão!
Thank you, Kathy!! Bless you, lady!! I am thrilled you liked this tutorial!! Sorry I haven't responded sooner!!...been trying to get used to how everything works with UA-cam, but I think I at least finally figured out the comments thing!! LOLOL!! Live and learn...Anyway, I hope you are having a fantastic day and sending you my hugs! :)
Definitely going to try this. I developed a block with the technique because I tried the tear drop and the traditional way but this seems like a far less fussy method. Thank you!
Oh definitely!! I find this method to take me a lot less time in creating the skinner blend, and getting right to whatever project I have going. Sending you my biggest hugs! :)
I use an atlas pasta machine. 150 or 180...either works great!! Mine has a hand crank. I used to use a motor on the machine, but the noise and sometimes it would take to long for me when the clay went through...I am WAAAAY impatient! LOLOL!! But the motors to those machines are nice too. The only thing about the motor attachment (other than the noise) that I don't like is that they can wear out. And those motors can be costly. I hope this helps. Sending you my hugs! :)
You know what...looks like I need to do another video on this and address your inquiry here. So, stay tuned...I will have to put this on the burner. Sending my hugs! :)
I totally understand that. I usually blend my brands altogether, so that may not help so much. But...another video possibly on colors and blending them may have to be in the works. However, just an FYI- I have a real love for Kato clay Fuchsia and yellow blends... Thank you for your comment!! Hugs! :)
Thank you so much, Kathy!! I have to admit...I want to see that lighter color in my blend more often than not...And doing my blending this way gives me so much more control over that blend. Sending you my hugs! :)
I've seen so many other clay-ers mash the sides in when the blend becomes too wide. You just fold it. No biggie. Mind blown!
Thank you, Duane!! I am so glad this is a help! Sending hugs! :)
Thank you! Very informative.❤

What type of pasta maker do you use? Is it common electric or did you put an attachment on it?

What do you do with three colours?😊
You know what...looks like I need to do another video on this and address your inquiry here. So, stay tuned...I will have to put this on the burner. Sending my hugs! :)
It would have been helpful to know the brand and name of the colors. Are you using fuchsia, cad red, zinc yellow, cad yellow . . . ?

I, like you, want to see more of my colors
Thank you so much, Kathy!! I have to admit...I want to see that lighter color in my blend more often than not...And doing my blending this way gives me so much more control over that blend. Sending you my hugs! :)
