As a former nuclear worker, I was SCREAMING before he lowered the rods IN THE REACTOR, WITH OPEN CONTAINMENT! I have worked in a unpowered reactor room during refueling, so this is !!!!!AHHHHH!!!!!! Utterly Terrifying!!! But still an entertaining video 🙃🙂 (Interesting side note: my father just retired from being a shift manager of all plant operations 2 years ago. I would be willing to pick his brain if asked (good questions).)

That's a good idea a Moron who created this power plant have forgot to add a emergency SCRAM button which is a critical part of power plant just in case of meltdown

@@vthegoose I tested it in the game, they don't seem to have a positive void coefficient because injection of the control rods doesn't increase reactivity, but the game does account for things like decay heat, so it can take seconds or even minutes for the insertion of the rods to actually quench the reaction, meaning you can still break a reactor and release radiation with sloppy control.
We need better alarms for this game though

When British people say "Americans are so dumb lol" I've never felt that more than watching this guy play this game. It took me 3 hours to get a modular V8 running. And he does crazy stuff in no time. Love the vids bro.
personally after screwing around with radiation, i think the radiation does not last long enough. in 15-30 irl mins radiation with a level of 70 at the center will be safe again. i think the effects should last much longer and have a wider area to make screwing up reactors a very bad thing

Loved the video MrNJersey! Definitely getting Chernobyl or Fukoshima vibes from this! The Alarms could use a bit of work though, maybe something like a Fire Drill alarm or a Fire Engine siren, or better yet, a Tornado Warning siren for full Immersion! Strange thing about Chernobyl though is that usually the Radioactive fallout lasts for about 56 years, with Chernobyl, at least check, even if the Radiation dropped down to acceptable background levels, it would still be rendered uninhabitable and the local plant life have started to grow through the brick wall that the Soviet Union had put up to contain it.
next thing we need? AIR RAID/ meltdown evacuation / tsunami warning sirens.

Hey jersey you made my day. do it again BUT use a helicopter for evacuate the meltdown from safe distance and i wanna see a nuclear explosion and also try doing a emergency SCRAM By lowering rods in every Reactor (maybe I'm wrong but try another way to cool the Reactor to prevent a nuclear meltdown) there is a rods lower or go up levers for each Reactor it's up of the control room panel at left up at middle next video

Bro, even Chernobyl reactor 4 was being ran better the night it blew up than the way you did it, leaving the lids to the reactors, the spit where the radiation is produced, open, meaning it wasnt contained, and even worse, you left the doors to the reaftor room open. Atleast with Chernobyl they were closed. Probably not a liveable area for like 20 million years now.
