Beard oils trap filth and dust in your beard , on your skin and in your pores. Use beard oil for styling and smell. But wash it out often. Dirt will damage you beard hair, trap dirt , and smells. . I don’t sell beard oil, I tell the truth.

Jojoba is pronounced hohoba. And is the smoothest, least destructive oil you can choose for beard oils. Argan is also great, I personally wouldn't go with any other types of oils if you're getting it on your skin.
On another note, peppermint oil is actually proven to help beard growth by increasing blood flow to the hair follicles, meaning more nutrients for your beard, resulting in better and faster growth. Worth looking up if you don't believe it.
There is biotin in the vitamin B supplement I take, I didn't actually know but it's pretty good. My beard grow slow, but my head hair has always been a menace to groom because it grows so fast (barbershop trips get pretty expensive in the long run).

#1. Aroma is a big selling point. Carrier oils are cheap. They're good for your hair. Essential oils are expensive. They smell nice.
#2. Good point. Good health is top priority for hair growth. Eat right, stay hydrated, & exercise
#3. Okay, so a good scent is important? Agreed.

I've been blending my own beard oil for the past 9 months for a lot less than what I was paying for it. My current cost is approximately $2.08 per ounce. Most of the scented oils I've tried lose their pop within an hour or less, so I don't even bother with them.

like my salt and jerky I make my own beard oil... I spent time trying different mixes. I found I like a good mix but mostly olive oil. not to expensive and long lasting. when i guys with beards i always get complimented and asked how i get my beard to look so shiny and healthy. when i see guys put their oils on they dab small amounts. because I make my own I am able to really pour on the oil. I do about 4 palm full pours and rub it in daily. I do not wash my hair with soaps. I scrub with hot water and then condition then oil once dried.

So much incorrect info. Castor oil makes your hair grow faster, several different oils make hair healthier keeping it from breaking which in turn makes it grow longer faster. The ingredients matter. Some ingredients are cheap and crappy, some are better cold pressed, organic, food grade, etc. There's most definitely a difference.

When you say there is no difference between certain beard oils, I find that rather misleading. Some do a better job of absorbing into the skin while others sit on the skin or the beard and provide very little benefit. Unless you can explain further why you say there is no difference but it has been my experience with several companies based on ingredients they use they there is a difference with every kind of beard oil.
