In this video I explained my routine and the products that I use on a daily bases to get rid of my patchy beard. It took me a while but with Patience and a good beard routine I was able to grow my beard and get rid of majority of the patchiness.

My father and most men in my family have full beard. I am 21 and i did cut off some patches a few days ago. Now i decided i want a full beard. So now i am going to let it grow for a few months. Thanks for the help.

I've been hitting the gym (testosterone boost, allegedly...) and using minoxidil.
Only two months ago I noticed new baby hair in the biggest empty space I had (my beard grow pattern is asymmetrical, the gap was in one side of the face, not the other)
I probably had other slow improvements too, but the gap was the most notorious for me.
The baby hair is growing thicker now. It still looks a bit patchy if you look closely, but definitely a lot better than before.
Im already letting the whole thing grow, and have received unsolicited positive feedback from people who know me.
Even if it keeps looking a bit patchy for a while, I'm already mostly satisfied with the result, and I'm already using a new look. The profile picture is old 😅

@Kevin also try adding rosemary and clove oils with just black castor oil just those 3 ingredients work amazing I make a beard oil for my Male Clients and adding these 3 oils have increased the growth🥰
Disclaimer: always do a patch /allergy test before trying anything in your face especially if you have sensitive skin no two faces are the same so gents please do your own research when using any chemicals to grow any hair. A few small things he didn't mention:
1. Genetics > Health & Diet > Grooming. Genetics determine if you'll grow hair. Good health and diet goes a long way in growing and retaining hair. Grooming takes care of the hair and keeps it moisturized and healthy.
2. Never use a plastic comb on your beard. They have microedges that cut your beard hairs. Wooden combs are the best.
3. Wash your beard at most twice a week with a beard wash. On other days just let water run through it.
4. Heat is not good for your beard. So avoid washing it with hot water.
Other than black castor oil, Shea butter also helps with beard growth. Supplements like biotin promotes hair growth.

My dad and brothers all have thick full beards except me, grows patchy and almost bare in some spots, i have a way healthier lifestyle and diet than one of my brothers for sure so idk guess i was cursed😔😊
Great presentation and I also throw in Rosemary because it has proven growth benefits. It has a strong but pleasant smell. The wait does get frustrating but it is worth it

Yes! I'm 31 years old, and recently started using this 4 months ago. I'm seeing amazing results, but it does take time and consistency. I wish I would have known about this in my early 20's. I would no doubt have a beard that connects and with more coverage! Great video man.

I'm interested in growing a beard because I don't care for shaving. I don't like getting shaved bumps, cutting my self, and some times I have no motivation to shave. Like you, I need help with growing a full beard despite my dad not having the same issue. 😅

I'm 47 and started growing a beard for the first time in my life about a month and half ago. I just started using minoxidil foam today because I have some patchy spots so we'll see how it goes. I'll try to edit this a few months from now and report results. I did my research too, and I've got a derma roller ordered, should be here tomorrow.

@Jim Sharck Beren using it for 6 months now and I have used it twice every day. I also started derma rolling the same time I started using minoxidil. I started using this combo about the same time I started growing a beard, and although it seems like I've made gains in my cheek area, which is where I have focused my efforts, it's really hard for me to say what to attribute to minoxidil and what to attribute to derma rolling, or even just natural growth, but it seems I have actually made gains.
@Jim Sharck would you recommend using minoxidil in the first stages of growing a beard or wait until you’re not seeing anymore progress. Because I’m 18 and I’ve been growing it for like 3 weeks (I know that’s not long but but it’s hard to be patient) and I don’t know if I should start it now or wait a couple months.

Your beard looks great man!. Unfortunately i can’t grow a full beard, my facial hair comes in really patchy on my cheeks and neck. Maybe i would be able to grow one if i used Minoxidil for a few months. It wouldn’t be a good idea though as i suffer with eczema. I can grow a circle beard though. (a partial beard where the moustache connects to the goatee, which forms a circular shape)

I'm telling you man. no products. it's working. just deal with it. 3 months you'll see difference.. Also go to a barber for an outline and cleaning up. strictly tell him no trimming though

I have a decent front, but my sides aren't great, it grows along the cheek line fine, but nothing below so I a very noticeable thin patches on the lower sides of my cheeks

I would because I've heard the side effects of dryness & flakes, so you need a moisture to combat it
you have to atleast have 2 hours between aplying the minoxidl cause applying other things with it will cancel the effect of minoxidl
lol my wife said the same thing today. Told her I had to get rid of these hair bumps and she said I'm just going to get beard out. Easier said than done when you got patches in it lol.
It’s crazy because I use the same method and it really works for me , I had the same type of beard he had and it came in way better now

@@payt_ don’t just stop after u see results. Supposedly hairs have to fully develop. There are stages. But eventually u can stop after full development. I’d guess if u see results after 4 months, don’t stop for at least 2-4 months after. Give your hair time

If your dermaroller needles are longer than 0.25mm you shouldn‘t apply minoxidil after dermarolling because more minoxodil will get into your bloodstream where it shouldn‘t be and causes a much much higher probability for side effects!
what if the roller is exactly 0.25mm, would it be safe to use minoxidil same day?
@@rojjohnson4 the derma roller needs to be 0.5mm to stimulate blood flow into your beard.

my friend tried using this beard growth oil and stuff "really popular oil" at the start he said it was awesome, made his beard soft and grew them patches full.. but he clean shaves now. cause those patches fell off.. and now he has even more patches.. its all with the genetics man. dont trynna change them.

You tried I went through the same process no one encouraged me, I encouraged myself.. at that time I could not afford expensive stuff for making your beard to grow..
the only little stuff I was applying, that was really really helping me was just a hair relaxer and that's all..
I can still remember the time I was passing through the process and my beard was very patchy.
When I go to the barbing salon I tell the salon man to make it the way I want, then once I get back home I apply relaxer on my beard.
Then I leave it for sometime and I watch it off.
That's my own story on how I got a big beard.
Even for my friend who wanted a mustache, moustache, I told him to use relaxer and it also worked for him
