    Absolutely worth it, given the 2023 upgrades re the fox 3.0 suspension, raptor steering rack, etc. Really enjoy my loaded $86K CDN wildtrack, has been great and one hell of a great winter vehicle.

    I have this Wildtrak with all of the options and as a retiree I drive it everyday It is amazing except for window rattle when partially down. I have the Shadow Black edition and it is an eye popper. I think as you reference, comparing it to a Land Rover is going to be a bit of a challenge. I would consider the Rover but again the price point is going to be higher equipped the same way as this Bronco.

    I love the soft top. I live in Southern California, and I set it back all the time. It's perfect for driving down the coast driving up to the lakes in the mountains. I really appreciate it when it starts to rain. I Put it back in seconds I don't have to take up all the room in the back of my bronco with my camping gear or my groceries in order to store those plastic pieces. I don't have to have help getting it on and off.

    Paid that for my fully upgraded badlands. I get sway bar disconnect and marine grade vinyl…. I’ll take badlands all day. Also it was designed to be modular. That’s why the aftermarket is sooooooooooo good for these rigs. Wildtrak to me seemed like the concrete cowboy/ grocery getter. Don’t get me wrong still rugged but tried to go “luxury” and lost some off road capabilities.

      I was on the fence for Badlands and Wildtrack. Wildtrack with the upgraded suspension and upgraded steering rack. For 24my the Badlands is getting the 3.0 steering rack so that works for me. I feel like the Wildtrack is the budget Raptor. I'm happy with my decision to go with the Badlands options out. I wish they would do the 4500 pound towing capacity that the Raptor has across all models. Especially now that the Jeep Rubicon has 5000 pounds on the Rubicon JL

    Have a 2023 Basically same spec msrp was 66k and It went right back to the dealer. Yes it looks great and have had jeeps my whole life and was excited to move on to the bronco bc the jeeps went to complete crap IMO. but this 2.7l is underpowered with the 35s. feels like im going to blow the motor when i get on it. Then the 10 speed trans shifts like crap and gets caught up. It was a big let down for me. They need to make a 3.5 version thats not the raptor and 30k more or they need to drop the 5.0 in it and im all in. But IMO ford really dropped the ball with the motor options in this.

    Granted it doesn’t have the lockers but is still a blast to drive. It’s drive amazing even with the 35” tires!
    I only wished there would have been a v8 n/a option! …although this 2.7 TT has a ton of power but thinking down the road it’ll need turbos and possibly more problems due to how complex the electronics are! We’re in our 50s and this is the only new vehicle either of us has bought!
    I contemplated buying used but due to the marketing and purpose this vehicle is intended for I decided to go new….didn’t want one that was off roadbed hard or in deep water!

    No, it's not worth $64k. My 2023 Bronco OBX 2.7 advanced 4x4 High package with aux switches and tow package was $40k. The upgrades needed to bring it up to WildTrak HOSS 3.0 spec is less than $10k.

    • @66scooterdaytona
      @66scooterdaytona Рік тому +2

      Did you get a price protection Bronco? Because you cannot compare it to a new full MSRP Bronco. I got my 2023 2DR BaseSquatch 2.7 for $38,500 (sold to me at $2000 below February 2023 MSRP). Hopefully Ford will stop with the three price increases in a year crap in 2024. The current MSRP for my Bronco is $49,000 if you can even get a Base model anymore. Yeah, I’m going to be upgrading the suspension to the HOSS 3.0 or better.

    • @mpeugeot
      @mpeugeot Рік тому

      @@66scooterdaytona yes, I had some price protection, and I also got $2,500 more off because I changed my order from the WildTrak to an OBX, but even full MSRP was $51,270 for the OBX. $11,000 is quite the price difference.
      My 2021 Bronco OBX was $48k without any price protection, and had the more expensive lux package, no aux switches (but otherwise identical to my 2023).
      If you never turn a wrench yourself, I can see the argument that the WildTrak is potentially worth it. However, the additional point (which you also state) is not just about the HOSS 3.0 package, which is overpriced by about $5k, but the price increases in general are making the Bronco less of a good value.
      If you are going for the most capable non-Raptor Bronco, it would make much more sense to get a non-sasquatch Badlands and add the HOSS 3.0 steering rack as opposed to buying a WildTrak.
      BTW, congratulations on your BaseSquatch, excellent value there.

      More capable in the desert going over dunes, Or more capable crawling over rocks?

    • @HiFiHuff
      @HiFiHuff 11 місяців тому +4

      The Badlands only plus if for rock crawlers. The Wildtrak suspension (HOSSS 3.0) is outrageously good and is just as capable off road (unless you are crawling rocks). I drive them both, side by side. Both were two doors, both had Sasquatch and both had the same packages included. After driving both it was easy for me, Wildtrak. I will never crawl rocks so for me, this was the best choice. We live out in the woods on land and it gets muddy, snowy and rutted but I will never need a sway bar disconnect. Few will.
