I watched this in 1998, as a dance music fan I always remember it was a great conversation about the late 80's rave scene. Unfortunately there's an poignancy now with Keith, and also the parallel to Bernard's former band mate Ian Curtis. Keith was a true rock star, he lived a great life in his 49 years, no one had a bad word to say about him.
I remember watching this when it was first broadcast. Before the internet and also the fact that we didn't even have SKY TV/MTV in our house meant that any little thing like catching an interview with Keith Flint on basic terrestrial tv was quite an event.
@Ada I reckon all three would still choose the life they've lived over the alternative of not being in a band and a lifetime of working 9 to 5. They all had plenty of good times too. Your comment is in bad taste tbh. Jarvis and Bernard are both still working, successful and seem happy. Keith had a sad end to his life, but no one really know what was going on with him and what made him do that. We know he'd just experienced the breakup a long term relationship.
@@lucasm3879 you didn't get the point. I meant fame and fortune don't boy your happiness. Life is still shit sometimes. I'm an absolute fan of New Order and Pulp. Didn't wanna hurt your feelings. Sorry
Mate come on, what was otherwise a crap decade brought you the Prodigy, the Chemical Bro's, Fatboy Slim, and of fucking course your ability to listen to sound over IP.
Keith was so young and sweet. Miss him. ❤️
thanks - Bernard is an absolute legend...
Really liked this - back in the days when people would take time to answer questions. Shows before ads instead of ads before shows.
Or they had a few drinks or whatever and were a bit spacey.
what. a. gem. !!! would love to see the rest of it. thanx anyways
I bet Keith was thinking, what the fff am I doing here? 😂❤️
Exactly what I was thinking

Two favourite band frontmen in same room. Wow!!

Ha ha Keith looks like wtf am I doing here??
The charisma, wit and intelligence around that table - todays music scene is so depressingly bland and shallow.
Which table is that, exactly?
@@JohnHirstUK It's really, really small.
Keith ❤❤❤
thanks for upload.
Pretty sure I recorded this when it went out. Didn't it have Massive Attack and Asian Dub Foundation on it?
Keith flints parents attended his funeral so I imagine he did make peace with them at some point after this.
If only Tony Wilson was presenting this
I think I remember watching this when I was 18. Remembered the series being dropped. I can see why now. Most of this interview is painful to watch...
Oh Keef Miss you so much xx
"Waiting for the Millennium, then something new will come along" absolutely correct Bernard, 100% mediocrity.
Memorables años 90s. Épocas de música y cultura autentica.
Solo Lazio
Am man I want to go raving with Keith now ,RIP
What a very awkward interview with 3 very different front men
I think Barney and Jarvis have a very dry sense of humour
BERNARD 💛 Not impressed by the interviewer tho ....
why do they all look like really deeply inner agitated in this recording. lol
It has this forced calmness with an awkward undercurrent. It reminds me of my appraisal.
pretty sure jarv hated new order lmao
Bernard - depression, panic attacks, uncontrolled anger
Jarvis - nervous breakdown, anxiety attacks
Keith - drug addiction, suicide

OK so what was your point? That people go through ups and downs in their lives? Thanks for pointing that out ...
@@lucasm3879 yeah, pretty shit if you've got everything and have an suicide attempt
Ada - weird desire to list everyone's problems
Very sad to watch, considering what happened to Keith. Chick doesn't know too much about the US.
Awkward .
Barney is a legend as always. He was wiped on Prozac at the time though. The rest of the show is pure 90s trash. Urgh.
Mate come on, what was otherwise a crap decade brought you the Prodigy, the Chemical Bro's, Fatboy Slim, and of fucking course your ability to listen to sound over IP.
I find Barney really annoying and he won’t stop coughing lol. It’s weird because NO are one of my favourite bands ever.
Флинт, ты ресницы наростил? Или купил?
Hair Larry us. 🥵
Keef didn't give a fuck and didn't want to be there.
Yerrr but it would make 'ya think about blah blah
extremely boring conversation.. to have 3 charismatic witty guests and such bullocks
Genuinely thought this might be interesting. Sadly, it disappointed.
