Excellent work. I've heard 3 versions of Daggerfall's OST remastered, and yours is hands down the best. I would very much like to incorporate it into a mod. It isn't that difficult, I can use existing mods as a base and rename/convert your tracks to make it work.
UA-cam recommended Arena Revival to me, and I went on a search through your videos to try to find Daggerfall. I couldn't find it at first, as I combed through your entire library. Great stuff, by the way. I had almost given up hope, but here it is! Beautiful work. Wish it was a little easier to find your revival soundtracks though!
The first comment I was typing was really jumbled and just spouting tons of love for each song I clicked on. First off, separating each song and timestamping them in the description is soooo helpful you are a saint. Each song is so well done, idk how you put these things together. I especially love the night ship theme and general shop theme. Anyways, before I ramble on again and make another unreadable comment, I will make sure to share this amongst others because you deserve way more views. Please keep doing what you are doing it is amazing, been so busy I can't believe I missed this drop. The youtube algorithms are soooo unfair.
This is a great revival of the Daggerfall Sountrack, probably my favourite of the various remasters I have heard! May I ask your permission to use part of this soundtrack in a free mod for the game Mount&Blade: Warband set in High Rock and heavily inspired by Daggerfall itself? All credits will be given to you of course, as well a link to your channel
Quick question for you: what program/plug-ins are you using to create such authentic sounding instruments? I also do MIDIs, and I'm looking to upgrade into something a little more realistic sounding!
Thanks! I use kontakt and engine 2 plugins. You can use those host plugins in most DAWs, I use reaper. I basically got the midi for Daggerfall, added the right instruments with various patches I have for kontakt and engine (based on the tracks in the midi file) and then just tried to mix it. Everything I tried to get as close to the original as possible, just better quality and a little more realism. I hope that helps. I did play some of the parts (my favorite parts) on keyboard but most of it I used the original midi and just added instruments and made them sound decent.
I am creating Elder Scrolls Daggerfall to Skyrims engine, do i have permission to use these remasters for this game to make the world even more fun place to travel?

There is now a dynamic music mod that lets you sort music into directories and the game randomly chooses a track from the appropriate directory.

The tavern's themes sounded like they were in empty subways. All echo and large space vibes. Not the small sound absorbing places I suspect they were.
