- We leave the Moonlight Inn of Sudbury Ontario Canada and Snowmobile to the Famous OFSC Snowmobile Bridge over the French River. This remarkable bridge was built in 2005 and is the Largest Snowmobile Bridge of its kind in the World. The French River Snowmobile Bridge is 512' long; 12' Wide and is 90' over the water. It can carry a large heavy trail grooming machine or over 100 snowmobiles at a time.
We also find John Sharrard of Accelerated Technologies staying at a resort we stumbled upon to get gas.

Getting caught up on your video's, i have to agree the footage from the bridge is awesome ,, that is on the bucket list now , will be checking that out this coming season .
yeah its something to see first hand. The Pickerel River one is open again as well. We will be going back!
Awesome video, but I'll point out that the largest snowmobile bridge is located east of Ottawa on the W1, crossing the Ottawa river into Quebec to connect to the 43. The bridge is a former rail bridge and is approximately 1,600 feet long. Cheers!
Yep someone has also mentioned that and I have added it to the bucket list
i live in espanola about an hour by car west of sudbury and i have always wanted to cross those snowmobile bridges. now that i have seen your video i am more inspired than ever to go there !!
Awesome! It’s been on my bucket list a while now! I think the pickerel river bridge will be open this winter as well so timing is perfect!
I'm looking forward to seeing lots more videos of your sledding season . You've made the most of this winter s by the looks of it.
its not over yet!
Great vid! Loved the reactions from everyone when you arrived at the bridge! Couldn't help but chuckle during the Larry Berrio talk. Also FYI the fencing along the HWY and subsequent trail is mainly for animal control. The stretch of 69 between Sudbury and French River sees allot of Deer and Moose and even Elk around the Burwash area.
i really want Larry on the podcast but damn he doesnt check his instagram - oh well, his loss. Wait till you see the next sudbury ride.
The way you cut across the trail around corners is insane, Your gonna get in a head on.
the fish eye camera makes the trail look narrower than it is. Plus we have 4 riders running comms and warning of sled so very slim chance a sled comes the other way without me knowing about it. I appreciate your concern tho.
Just added a destination to my ride bucket list!! Glad you guys persevered and got there!
Well worth the Trip. I sure Hope the Pickeral Bridge ReOpens - Its another great bridge a few km from this one.
Cool that ya guys were able to stop by and see John
yeah that was funny. That was his torsion springs giving us some trouble early in the ride. Have to talk to him more about that :-(
I have been running his X torsion springs in my 2022 since day one and they have been the best. What an improvement over stock! I did see in the video that the driver side torsion spring came out of the spring support bracket. Did the spring support bracket come loose?
@@brucestewart78 these springs turn this sled into a buckboard on number one. I seriously think my 1995 670SS rode better. I am putting the stock ones back in when I get another track, just put that track on and the spring tore it apart, locked the track and I rear ended drew and smashed my hood on the G4! Shitty day. The spring smashed the adjuster on the back and bracket the bracket, bent the bushing around the bolt. No impact you seen how groomed the trail was, smooth and flowy
@@mudbrats Damn that was a bad day. When was the last time the shocks on rosko where rebuilt? Usually if the rebound is working good it will stop the bucking.
@@brucestewart78 all the shocks just rebuilt - not the shocks it the springs - i gotta put another track on it now so ill put the stock springs back in and sell these
Look’s like your enjoying your new sled. I did snow check a doo for the first time so next year I’ll be enjoying it too, keep riding as long as possible and keep the videos coming
i upgraded as well! Need the gen5 and the 10.25” screen
I did the Blizzard 850 in yellow I can’t wait
That's awesome !
@@speeder757 love that sled - great shock package!
You guys could have made it easily over that little tiny bit of water. It looks like a smooth transition. Probably could have did it at 25 mph. Nice video
Could have yes but my wife is new and wasn’t to keen on crossing it 👍🏼
@@coreybrock6333 nice!
Remind me never to get communicators that would drive me nuts
Thsats strange you feel that way. Comms are so much fun.... Keep in mind this was an entire day ride. We dont talk non-stop these are just the funny parts I can share.
Right?! I love their videos but cannot stand all of the bs banter. OMG, shush up and enjoy the ride!! I can only watch these videos with the sound muted. Like, seriously, STOP with all the bs commentary every 3 seconds.
@@rpc2112 🤬😡🤭👍🏽
Awesome video Gary keep them up
Thanks buddy!
They cut down the trees to roast the nickel out of the rocks.
yes i have learned that
I’m debating getting those muffs, my hands froze this year. I must be getting old lol
Big bridges are cool, we have the longest bridge here in the Ottawa valley that connects us to Quebec
The muffs are worth every penny. You can wear thin cotton touch screen gloves or mechanics gloves even on the coldest days. I have skidoo grip gloves and need to find a warmer pair so I don’t always have to run the muffs, but I lost my normal gloves I wear in the first scavenger hunt in Kirkland Lake when my bag flew off
The muffs are great but I have a hard time using them as they fall under the same category as windshields…ugly hahahahaha
@@coreybrock6333 lol way too cold without windshield when we ride in Quebec in January. I use to rock the no windshield but that was when I was in my 20’s lol
Why are u guys losing everything ? Is this the first time riding ?
Yes it was my first time riding
Nice video never seen that bridge i know where im going this weekend🤙
its pretty awesome!
Looks awesome I hope Bullwinkle is OK
trails were pretty crappy there a week ago, i can only assume they are even worse this week
Don’t know went out today and local trails here are mint didn’t venture out far but the local trails are awesome around here I’m hoping they’re pretty good up there too it’s snowing👍
Awesome video guy’s, love the commentary…hilarious! Wish we could have been there cheers 🍺
we wish you guys came up there as well - tons of snow north of sudbury! ❤️. Not so much snow this direction south
@@mudbrats
Ya it’s over around here, we’re heading north next week, no destination yet but looking for good snow!
@@pro_polarisrob8245 for next weekend? let me know - bonfield/mattawa may still be good
@@mudbrats
Ok will let you know, we were thinking of Mattawa but will see after Sundays mild weather
you are coming next year for sure 😎
What are the communicators you guys use ? Thnx 🍻
uclear motion series - we have the motion6 version
How does that oxygen helmet work with wearing your glasses? I’ve been considering getting one.
I dont wear the glasses all the time. The Oxygen is air tight so you need to keep the chin vents open wide. The ritual is when you stop you crack the visor open a couple clicks. And when you start rolling, you can close the visor. My issue is i am always recording and talking or on the comms so once the glasses get condensation, they will ice over. If i am not recording or i know its gonna be a less active day, ill wear them. Usually i put the glasses on and someone gets stuck and you end up huffin and puffin to fog them and ice them up haha
Thanks for the response, I wear a Mod 1 now but it’s time to upgrade and I’d really like to get away from the mask if I can get something that works relatively well with glasses.
@@lifeoutside1988 the modular is best for glasses, bv2S was not as good as the Modular or Oxygen. but i dont like breath boxes so the Oxygen is the best helmet i have ever wore. But i haven’t tried a mission yet. The Oxgen is airtight and the modular has a lot of air movement in it - thats what keeps the glasses clear. You just need to keep vents open and crack the visor to keep air flow. Depends on how heavy you breathe as well
Where’s the review in those curved skis?? They sucked didn’t they?
they rock! id rather be riding than editing videos so stay tuned - i have one more weekend of ripping left and then its back
to makin videos
I wish I had an awesome wife that could ride like that 😛
