  • Jesse, Mike and the boys head out from Amos on a 460 km ride to Chibougamau. The trails were freshly groomed, not a single mogul all day! After sunset everything started to change.. one sled doesn't have any brakes, and we all get stuck in the same spot!!

    Hey guys enjoy your videos . We have been saddle bagging for years up in Quebec ( Lacking good snow fall here in VT / USA ) with our 4 stroke Ski-Doo Renegade Enduro's Non-Turbo's ,( cheaper price point and non premium gas saves $ ) and I couldn't agree with you more 4 stroke is the way to go up there . This year my friend & I will plan a trip to do a 1200 /1300 mile loop thru Chibougamau starting out of Saint .Michael -Des Saints, Never been on that part of trail 93 and west side of trail 83.We have done most of the central and East sides of Quebec, Hopefully we will catch up will you Sledaddicz's
    somewhere on the trails this season .Be safe out there and pray for lots of snow ,Later Skip

    Wow... Looks like a fantastic trip! I put on just under 3,000 km's on my 22 Renegade 850 Xrs this year just in District 2. Can't imagine how much I would have if I book ended for next year a trip in late December to Cochrane and late March to QC or NB? Thanks for taking me on all your rides this year, it's been great to see all these places I've never sledded before. You guy's have the best video's on UA-cam and nice to see them coming from fellow Ontarians.

      It was probably the best trip I've been on, although Jesse is riding in New Brunswick right now which looks unreal. That's a great season for sure in district 2 and hands down we love these renegade 850 XRS sleds! Those will both be excellent trips and we appreciate you riding along with us Don! Thanks for the kind words and support. It's been a lot of learning and work to keep up the content this year! Cheers, Mike

      It really is. There is no better sled for this kind of riding than a 4 stroke turbo for sure if you are saddle bagging it. Most of the sleds in these parts of Quebec were 4 strokes. Cheers, Mike

    The more you ride Quebec the more the 4 strokes make sense. Ever try a dialed in Sidewinder? Our winder crew hooking up with you guys would be fun. I think you guys should be called Dooaddictz. 🤪

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  2 роки тому

      Definitely. I haven't tried one but Jesse tried one that was 300hp and said it was absolutely nuts! Haha we definitely Doo love our Doos but we aren't brand biased at all and we did give Danny's VR1 a good amount of seat time this season. There still isn't anything that compares to Doo in our opinion but I could see a winder being nice for Quebec for sure. Cheers and thanks for watching the Dooaddicz lol 😆 Mike

    Would like to see a review on the LinQ 40L dry bag. Have not seen one on UA-cam. Is it made from a rubber material? Is it flexible when it gets really cold? Also considering trail pro bag, what is your opinion on that one? That bag received a lot of bad reviews that makes me leery of that one ie bad buckles and straps and dealers claiming a lot of returns and people unhappy with it. Otherwise it looked like it would be a great size and functioning bag. What would your recommendation be between the two.

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  2 роки тому +1

      Great suggestion David. I will put a video together on it. It's not made of rubber but the part where you seal it up is. These are 2 different bags and I wouldn't actually recommend one over the other. The 40l bag is really just for touring and packing clothes. The trail pro bag is a more functional every day riding type of a bag. I have now had the pro bag for 2 seasons and 15k kms...not a single issue with it. Depends what you are looking for. Mike

      Thanks for getting back to me, I am a saddle bag rider taking 3-4 day trips. Your channel is one of my favorite’s for that reason. There are a lot of day rider channel but few that feature touring or living off what’s on your sled for several days. Sounds like the trail pro bag may be better for me. Another interesting LinQ accessory is the 10 liter modular stackable box. No videos on that ether, I was thinking that could go under a LinQ bag for tools and things that you wouldn’t want banging around in the semi ridged bags. Thanks again for talking time to produce videos that are relevant to long distant riders.

      @@bigmurph1447 The reality is that its all how hard you are on the gas. As soon as you are moving on the wide open trails of Northern Ontario or Quebec, you are going to start using more fuel. We have seen as low as 170 kms to a tank on an 850 before it runs out of gas. The 900t does seem to be better on fuel - the 600r is hands down the best. Mike
