- Went on our longest snowmobile trip yet for this ride! We went around 200 miles in the day and it was some great riding! There was pretty good snow up there the weekend that we went but it was a bit icy in some of the corners. Had a bit of trouble getting jakes started at the beginning of the day but after messing with it we got it going and it ran perfect all day! Just watched your vidio were you went from Marquette to Munising to Grand Island Enjoyed it very much. I’m 82 years old and still rideing Right now I am rideing a 2010 Yamaha apex and don’t think I would have gotten thru some of the trails on the island Most of the guys I used to ride with have given it up so it’s getting hard to find people to ride with I’m lucky my son and his wife ride. They have a place in Harbour Springs so that’s were I am doing my rideing most of the time now Have covered most of the trails between Marquette and the big bridge. Them were the days Thanks for the vidios guys. You look like you have a great group. Stick together and enjoy They will be great mories

Au Train to Marquette to Big Bay for lunch at The Sawmill Inn and back to Au Train. What a smokin good ride that was.
Me and a few buddies were riding up there to. That's my neck of the woods there in Marquette. Trail 14 was horrible by big bay
Yeah there was a couple rough patches of trails
Big Bay is some of the best riding i have ever done

just threw a zl500 engine from a sled with a busted undercarriage in a zl440 chassis and it RIPS ( the zl440 is 68 hp and the 500 is 100 ) its too bad its a mild winter because i cant get enough traction to even lift the skis barely

trail 8 or 88 or 888 all nice up there We ride off trail most of the time picking your way and hill climbing well sometimes ya get er stuck then its all work .. enjoy the time boys have fun

Funny....when I'm sledding in the U.P. I try to stay away from 'freeway' trail 8. It's usually whooped out from all the traffic.
@@fritzkabeano1969 yep we do off trail 90 percent of the time.
Why was the speedometer gauge not working
Love that you take us along BUT Stay on the trails..Please. saw the area where it was loaded with small pines and I recognized as my Brothers property that he allows State to use. Please don't screw it up for the others.like us.

My son just got back from Seney area, rode all off trail ,used g.p.s. ride get stuck repeat.

Are these trails open year round?
Depends on if they are snowmobile trials or ORV trails, I’m not sure which they were right now

We do have them but Cam’s sled doesn’t have a plug in for it so we will have to add one and get his hooked up
