There are 21 official members but are broken into different subunits. The only fixed ones are WayV and NCT 127. NCT U members change as the concept does and NCT DREAM is where the younger line debut and learn the ropes of performing and being an idol. Basically Dream members "graduate" out into other subunits as they reach the Korean age of 20 (internationally 19). I'm writing this off the top of my head so some things may be incorrect and I may have missed some things.

This man can fill the Tokyo Dome as a soloist (and has) several times over. He is a HUGE deal in Japan and South America, as well as Korea. On stage he is a focused, sexy, dangerous dancing/singing machine. He breaks all the rules of Kpop, and SM just lets him be because he is too huge to mess with. Now, Taemin is basically a Icon in
Korea because he started out in

He was in this group at age 14, kinda
like Jungkook started at age 14 in BTS, but Taemin is full adult in mid 20's now I think, but he also is a solo artist after SHINee, and has multiple solo albums out, before BTS, EXO, NCT, WayV their was Kpop group call 'SHINee you should check them out really amazing group Kpop group they are the Kings in Korea world known international as well in mid early 2000's but anyway Taemin was youngest member in SHINee group,

It's obvious you've never reacted to either SHINee or Taemin before...lol. What you have to understand about Taemin is that he has dual personalities.
On stage, Taemin is a BEAST! This man can fill the Tokyo Dome as a soloist (and has) several times over. He is a HUGE deal in Japan and South America, as well as Korea. On stage he is a focused, sexy, dangerous dancing/singing machine. He breaks all the rules of Kpop, and SM just lets him be because he is too huge to mess with.
Off-stage Taemin is a completely different animal -- think kitten, cute and cuddly. He has magic hands that can break things instantly for no reason, forgets things like his passport, luggage, etc., all the time, smiling constantly, terrified of bugs, serial pants ripper, and very gentle and kind. Basically, he's just a squishy marshmallow.
Taemin attended an open audition at the age of 12 and was immediately snatched up by SM for his dancing alone. He debuted at 14 in 2008 as the main dancer. As the SHINee maknae, his other members have babied him (like Jungkook of BTS) and basically spoiled him rotten. You can see this in his cute, but "savage", interactions with them. Since his other members are currently in the military, Taemin is all alone and carrying the torch for SHINee. We shawols are happy to see him with another group because Taemin is always happier with friends around him.

While I am primarily a Shawol and Taemin fan, I can appreciate all the guys in this group, as they are all extremely talented, and I wish them well in this endeavor.
