During a concert performance, Onew dropped the pitch out of nowhere on a line, shocking Jonghyun. - That heavy necklace Onew's wearing in part of the MV? It flew up and whacked him in the face while they were filming, kicking off a lifelong-long battle between Onew and whatever jewelry the stylist stuck on him that day. 1 of 1: - This album was also sold on cassette to fit with the theme. Very cool! - Onew injured his ankle rather badly during a concert before the 1 of 1 MV filming and was still recovering at the time, so he couldn't participate in the dance scenes. - There's a rather famous clip of them singing the opening of the song (including the instrumental) completely a cappella on the show Knowing Brothers. Tell Me What To Do: - That /was/ Han Sohee! This was actually before she became a big name in the acting scene. - Their choice of a ballad as a title track was far from universally liked, and it surprised a lot of people. - The choreo for this song is very stylistic and uses squares of cloth as props. - A lot of SHINee videos (including their solo content) have fire... or a car getting blown up. (Also, for this MV, there are some interpretations that Taemin's character, um, rigged the car to explode after they'd gotten in it.) Happy to hear you've become Baby Shawols! Hello is one of my favorite Jonghyun performances. It's so obvious that he was genuinely happy at that moment. And of course his beautiful voice. In 1 of 1 Onew is injured so he can't dance.

Seeing this brings back memories of when I saw Shinee for the first time. I'm the happiest Shawol that they are still active for so long and still with great relevance, shinee is a unique and incomparable group...
1 of 1 is New Jack Swing! Fun fact: The love triangle in Tell Me What to Do was supposed to be Taemin vs Jonghyun, but everyone thought it was funny instead of serious! As for genre, SHINee do what they want and everyone else follows.
