Completely random and mostly useless SHINee trivia:
Hello:
- This is the repackage to Lucifer. Hilariously, it's nothing like Lucifer.
- They've complained before about how high the song is! During a concert performance, Onew dropped the pitch out of nowhere on a line, shocking Jonghyun.
- That heavy necklace Onew's wearing in part of the MV? It flew up and whacked him in the face while they were filming, kicking off a lifelong-long battle between Onew and whatever jewelry the stylist stuck on him that day.
1 of 1:
- This album was also sold on cassette to fit with the theme. Very cool!
- Onew injured his ankle rather badly during a concert before the 1 of 1 MV filming and was still recovering at the time, so he couldn't participate in the dance scenes.
- There's a rather famous clip of them singing the opening of the song (including the instrumental) completely a cappella on the show Knowing Brothers.
Tell Me What To Do:
- That /was/ Han Sohee! This was actually before she became a big name in the acting scene.
- Their choice of a ballad as a title track was far from universally liked, and it surprised a lot of people.
- The choreo for this song is very stylistic and uses squares of cloth as props.
- A lot of SHINee videos (including their solo content) have fire... or a car getting blown up. (Also, for this MV, there are some interpretations that Taemin's character, um, rigged the car to explode after they'd gotten in it.)
Happy to hear you've become Baby Shawols! By the way, their debut tagline is that they're a "contemporary band" - they were created as SM's "experimental" boy group, and that still holds to this day with their more unusual musical choices.

Hello is one of my favorite Jonghyun performances. It's so obvious that he was genuinely happy at that moment. And of course his beautiful voice.

Just so you know, Hello isn't actually from 13 years ago, it's from 2010. In 2011, SM opened a new UA-cam channel and reuploaded most of their content, so every SHINee MV you see that says it’s from 2011 is actually older (in 2011 SHINee were working exclusively in Japan so they didn't have any Korean MVs that year, and back then Japanese Comebacks were posted on a separate UA-cam channel).
In 1 of 1 there are only 4 dancing because Onew injured his leg not long before shooting the MV so he couldn't dance and he set down for most of rhe song.

As for genre, SHINee do what they want and everyone else follows.
Onew was hurt when they shooted the video. I think it was something to do with his foot, so thats why they have only four dancing

The problem with SHINee guides is that SHINee are such workaholics that 2 days after the Guide gets uploaded it's already outdated.
