Vincent D'Onofrio and John Leguizmo, in the same episode, Epic!
cuando no estaba gordo😹😹
I know, right???
Exactly 💯
WE DON'T TALK ABOUT ORLANDO, NO NO NO!
the anticlimatic end to the CALDERONE saga.
Should been him finding his son
Such a weak end to the Calderone arc. Also, it never made sense to me why the son was so hellbent on killing Tubbs - it was Crockett who killed the dad.
I think it was because Tubbs had convinced Orlando Calderone’s sister to go against their dad the Senior Calderone who Crockett ghosted.

This episode marks the final appearance of the Calderones in Miami Vice. Tubbs' son, who he fathered with Angelina, was presumed killed in the Calderones' last appearance but actually survived; his fate is never revealed, except that Tubbs believes him to be dead. Presumably this is a result of the show's producers not wanting to burden Tubbs with a child, for fear of limiting his input in storylines.
I enjoy thinking that the little boy running acros the grass IS lil' Tubbs.😁
@@allanbard6048 she killed her self in that bombshell
@@floridaroadways Yes. SHE died in that car bomb. BUT if you listen close you hear Calderone jr. tell some one to "take him up to the house."
This is one of the view Tubbs centric episodes. It has echoes of the classic Western High Noon. It's a shame this storyline was never continued as it would have been interesting to find out what happened to Tubbs son. As he had been, unbeknownst to Tubbs been taken by Calderone and his peeps. A classic nevertheless with Tubbs in Gary Cooper mode on his own to face the Villians. Interesting to note this is the only episode Tubbs girlfriend Lisa appears as she never appears again.
This actress(Maria McDonald) also played Vanessa in 'The Great McCarthy' episode. 😎🤓😁✌️
It is High Noon!
Margaret Avery
John Leguizamo in the first clips
Anybody wished that Calderone mentioned to Tubbs that his son is still alive? It would’ve great that he went looking for him.
Also at 3:17 Philip Michael Thomas actually hurt himself here and still kept on going. That’s a hell of a an actor. Salute.
I think it was the writers' intention that his son be killed in Sons & Lovers, and NBC forced them to suggest otherwise. After that, the writers just carried on as though the network intervention never happened.
Similar situation to how NBC intervened when Crockett killed Frank Hackman (by forcing them to shoot an insert with a gun in Hackman's hand).
I prefer to think of that little boy as Tubbs jr.🙃
And that...was the END of the "CALDERONE SAGA"...
It’s so convenient how the bad guys are bad shots
Hard to believe he actually fell for it....you know what they say..."If it seems to good to be true, it probably is...." Really Tubbs...? lol Miam Vice Forever!
What an awesome episode 👍
I doubt the actor refueling the plane is a card carrying SAG member
None of the Jan Hammer music cuts here have been properly released on CD. Very, very sad indeed......
Check out that old shotty Tubbs is using. Some kind of circa-turn-of-the-century under-lever double-barrel. At least he's in his comfort zone of using a scattergun, though he plugs one of the long barrels up with mud when he rolls.
You can almost hear Tex Ritter strumming away on his guitar!
This was NOT the climax of the Calderone saga I was hoping for. Really disappointing, the set-up is lame, and the basic plot rips off the great western, High Noon.
Don't get me wrong, I really wanted to like this ep, but came away from it with a large "MEH!" 😾
This was a blood fued between the Tubbs family and the 5:33 Calderon family .
High Tension in this episode when it was aired in TV back then. I like this episode.
I really liked this episode!
3:19, I hope the barrel of the shotgun that just got plugged by dirt is not the one with the live round .
What a great great cast of guest stars over the years!!!
Season 3 onwards really doesn't have that original feeling at all. The writing quality is just awful comparatively. Anyone else?
I liked the whole series
It’s more about the feeling of the 1980s and the nostalgia value of Miami Vice.
That aspect for a lot of people overrides the desire for strong plots and solid story, which was often missing from MV🤔
Agree, but Season 3 is a masterpiece compared to Season 4 and 5.
Seasons 1-2 -- masterpiece.
Season 3 -- the pressure mounted, but Miami Vice rallied.
Season 4 -- Solid at first, but sci-fi themes killed the series.
Season 5 -- They tried getting back to the original content, but it was too late.
Overall, one of the greatest television shows to go down in history!
@@denimbandit2284 The first few episodes of season 4 are quality and rather stylish. It's too bad that those are followed by the lowest lows of the entire series.
That ending could've been so much better
Loved the show. But, the acting was horrible. 😂
This Show Was Never The Same After Michael Mann, Left As Exctuvive Producer
Caldrone and Bruce the ultimate TV villain
Rico Tubbs rules !.
Maria McDonald superhot.
We don’t talk about Bruno
I grew up with this show, but NEVER saw a full episode....until recently.
Every episode was like a movie, so shockingly good for a primetime TV show, and it's so cool to point like DiCaprio and spot all the young stars before they took off in their own careers.
Vincent D'Onofrio and John Leguizmo were this show as guest stars, awesome! this show had a lot of actors who go to great success letter in life. Also, love the fact that women struggles with the Mac-10, it has high recoil and an absurd rate of fire, it also shows that she is not familiar with firearms. Those are very nice details and adds to the scene and gives it tension and stakes, and provides some realism. We don't see that very often in filmmaking. Always loved the fact that Michael Mann goes to considerable length to portray firearms accurately, especially back then when that was not common.
😎
My Favorite Episode Of Miami Vice, Season 3
The afternoon plane! Season three was really a mixed bag between really good episodes and not so wonderful episodes and this is one of the good ones!
latino blood uno de mis capitulos favoritos Calderone's 2 con Toque Español
D’Onofrio’s greatest role!
Bravo.thenks
She had good aim
CALDERON..He killed my brother....
All in all - this episode never really made sense. If Calderone can go through this elaborate trouble to kill Tubbs, wouldn't it be easier to just hire a few professional hitmen to do the job in Miami?
Calderone wanted Tubbs out of Miami so he could have a much more isolated place to get rid of him without Miami Vice being able to protect him. Plus he also knew that the locals had nothing against the Calderones so they wouldn't help Tubbs either.
@@NixDarkLord You totally missed the point.
@@rasalghul9331 then i don't understand what you mean. With all due respect.
@@NixDarkLord This elaborate scheme to get Tubbs to travel all the way to a far away island seems far more complex and riff with opportunities for things to go wrong than pay some drugged out homeless dude $100 to walk up to tubbs and place a bullet in the back o his head in Miami. It is not as is Tubbs is under 24/7 protection all the time
Tubbs always has a shotgun. Maybe he is a bad shot?
Not in the finale, SONNY uses a ARMSEL STRIKER shotgun
I loves Miami Vice so much! Back to the 80s!🌴☀️😎❤🙏🏝🏖
This episode is very good.
