thank you kindly for this video. im learning asl being hoh and slowly losing hearing. plus a lot of deaf in my family, and very interested in a deaf man ty again
thank you for this video! I’ve been practicing words, numbers, and other common beginner ideas every day but haven’t found one with common phrases, this has helped a lot!!
Thank you for posting this video. I am in college and my professor is completely unreachable and I can't figure out how to navigate TrueWay. These are almost all of the vocabulary words for Unit 1!
I'm trying to learn ASL from UA-cam. I try to practice and watch a video a few times a week. I came across your video today and I learned a few new words. You actually gave me some peace and calm watching you. Thank you. I have a question 🤔 I spell so slow, how can I get faster and better?
I enjoy the silence watching this so much. the energy and vibe is so chill. I also thank you for showing the shape, position, and all that from different perspectives. Do you have videos where you can play out 1-3 short (quality over quantity) scenes with another person? So beginners can test and see if we can understand what is being signed? or maybe just put a "test" portion (a slow or reasonably paced interaction) and then revealing "answer" (text on screen showing what was signed by each person)? Thanks again!
One suggestion, if I may? If you rotate the opposite way (to the left?) when repeating a sign, your dominant hand would be more visible to the camera. 😁 (Otherwise, I love your signing! 👍🏼) Thanks for the videos!
3:12 I thought that sign means different? And if you do the exact one, but if you move them a few times it means "ready"? I'm lost. I hate when I see different things being said.
Even though I'm not fluent and I'm still learning, I think different is the same motion but with a different hand shape? (I think it's this hand shape ☝️) Correct me if I'm wrong though. I'm not really the right person to answer this, but I figured I would since it has no replies. Please let me know if the sign is different!
Hello 😊 friend great videos I really want to learn your language thanks for your help I have a few questions about food I work at a restaurant and sometimes deaf people come to visit and I want to help but I can't if you can help me to help them I really would appreciate it and again thank you so much.
Hey everyone, does anyone know a good video or channel to learn sign language thats geared more torwards the medical side? Like asking where the pain is, or if they have a fever or chills, for meds, or something like that. I want to learn for my patients. Thankyou very much for your help.

Thank you so much! My ASL teacher is a little too fast at times when learning survival vocab, this video was at a good pace and really helped me!
Glad it was helpful!
Omg you’re a lifesaver!! My asl teacher went through the vocab terms at a quick pace. Luckily I found this video and clicked on it.

Hi! I'm a Brazilian sign language interpreter, and actually I'm also learning ASL. Great video, pal 🤟🏻 greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
God everytime I turn on an asl video. I always think the volume is broken. Then I realize why it’s quiet then I feel dumb 😂🤦🏻♀️
Thank you Travis!
I knew all but a couple of those.

Thank you for the feedback, I'll try this :)
Thank you!!
Thanks. I'm hard hearing and getting sick of trying to talk to someone in basic terms in a quick second 🙃.
I'm neurodivergent and have days where I can't speak easily. A lot of the "asl for autism" videos can be condescending or infantalizing. Thank you!
