I'm a retired teacher ( i taught younger kids), and whenever the kids seemed to be having that kind of day, i often read the book, "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No-Good, Very Bad Day". It was a favorite, and i'll tell you what i would remind my students: "Some days are like that. Even in Australia." (It's a quote from the book.) 🖤
The look turned out so pretty! Also, there is almost nothing that annoys me more than when my base makeup doesn’t work out! That’s so most boring part of the makeup, and when it doesn’t work out, I feel like it can throw off the whole look!
The purple looks amaizing. I think I would have paired it with a peachy nude cheek and lip but it is also beautiful with the blush and lipstick you chose.

What a beautiful eye look!! I love that foundation, but I've noticed it works best on me if my skin is freshly exfoliated. I think on me (dehydrated/combo skin) it needs a lightly moisturizing base (I use the lanegie glow serum). The makeup forever pore minimizing primer works well with it as well. It is definitely a bit finnicky though, but once you find the right combo I think it looks amazing.
This is my third day in a row practicing this eyeshadow technique with different colors/tones. I literally can’t get over how stunning this look is, I want to perfect it so it can be my go to night out look 😍

Love 💕 the eyelook!!! Purple and lavender have been my vibe lately and it's so hard to find right shades that actually show up on the eyelid, especially at the drugstore. Purple 💜 is such an underrated colour. I wish more companies included it in their palettes, but I know it's very hard to make so that makes sense. I think the reason the pink blush and lip don't look as harmonious with this look is because you have neutral to warm undertones, so the purple really brings the yellow out and contrasts with your skin. The cool toned pink creates a similar effect and therefore instead of creating a harmonious outcome, it ends up competing with the eyes. I agree with some people that a peachy nude lip and cheek would look the best and really make the eyes the star of the show. I have a very similar skin tone so I always use that trick. Nevertheless, you look stunning as always and I'd LOVE to see the green version of this! 💚

Beautiful! You might also try E6000 as a glue for your brush. It takes a while to dry but I like it better for gluing a brush back together.
