For such a young girl, you really do understand makeup and I find that refreshing as a 34-year-old. I don’t feel like I am watching someone pile up on makeup just because. It’s just tasteful and sophisticated, even with bright colors. Great job, Julia.

I think you’ll be happy to find that younger women (19-24) have been really embracing skin tints and lighter makeup. It is very much the opposite of the “Instagram brows” and other heavy matte looks that were popular when I was in college

I LOVE the Mac Glow Play blush in So Natural and have started using it more again. I'd neglected it, since it's a bit too light for me when I get more tanned, but the shade is perfect for now 💚💚 The other night I thought some lint or something had gone into it and tried to take it out, but found out that I had actually hit pan on it and felt unreasonably proud of myself 😂😌

I just discovered indie makeup, and I'm dipping into an indie palette for the first time! It's an ALL DUO CHROME palette from a site called Bella Beauty Blog, it's the Angels of Illumination Palette Vol. 2, and I can't wait, I am SO EXCITED! I'm not sure how I will use these gorgeous shades, but I know I will have fun figuring it out. Just wondering if you have any indie makeup brands you really love? I would so greatly appreciate it if you did a look using a bright-ass duo chrome shade so that maybe I can use your video as a guide when I am starting out using these more intense shades!
