"Besides, I already have a companion, why should I desire to have another one?" LOVED that! Thank you for giving credit to our dear Watson and this wonderful adaptation!
I have now seen it over 3 times. Even 3rd time it was same thrilling as it was 1st time. Great work!!! BTW we are being taught this chapter bin school in class six. This movie has cleared all my doubts. Thank you!!
Yes. It's hard imagining Sherlock any other way after seeing Jeremy. It's like he isn't acting, he becomes Sherlock. It's amazing. And those adventures he's in are absolutely fantastic. I think they are the greatest thing in film in history. I don't know how they did it, but all of Hollywood spending billions on making movies can't top them. Jeremy Brett deserves to be Knighted, and honored world wide. How I wish there were more of those adventures.
Plz upload all stories of sherlock holmes. Iam a great fan of him. I would like share my gretings for ur great work. Tnx for giving us an opportunity to watch the story
Amaaazing work you guys... I enjoy your films a lot, i love thriller genre and detective novels, holmes being my most favorite, and youve done full justice to the stories, fantastic content... Thank you 😊❤️❤️
After reading Adventure 8 of Sir Arthur Doyle's novel, my 6th graders are watching the Tady Brothers' reenactment of the story. They're very critical of this interpretation, so I've challenged them to produce something better.
@@MerryGoldberry The text is complex but an appropriate challenge for them. They enjoy the unit and are highly interested in the plot! One of our activities involved drawing out the crime scene (Helen's Sister's room & Dr. Roylott's rooms) using the original text. After finishing the reading, they got to look at their drawing and reconsider their placements.
Do any of you commenters realize that hundreds of actors have played Holmes over the years? There have been tons of actors in this role in the 80 plus years prior to Jeremy Brett. And many since him! I think Sam & Andy are a GREAT Holmes & Watson. Good work guys!
This part of the movie is there in our E.literature book and it is also there in our annual examination of class 6...😁 btw it is a nice story by Arthur Conan Doyle...👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Thank you I wanted to find out about this ever since I found about this case from the grace of ace attorney , and I didn’t know about this adventure of Sherlock Holmes, because I’ve only recently started listening to his journeys and watching them
I noticed you left out the fact that Grimsby Roylott is the terror of the village. There is no mention of Mrs. Farintosh or Mr. Thorne. Also, the notorious serial killers, Palmer and Pritchard are not mentioned. These are just a few of the omissions. Need I also mention the incorporation of the opening scene of The Dancing Men.
This is actually a fine adaptation! If you truly wish to see an appalling adaptation of the story then I will point you to the version starring Geoffrey Whitehead & Donald Pickering. It was done for the 1979-1980 TV series "Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson" produced by Sheldon Reynolds. Hard to believe that appalling series was produced by the same man who brought us the charming 1954 series which starred Ronald Howard and H. Marion Crawford.
great I just heard this story on Sunday suspense and found this, have to say Mir da is so much mature for these detective characters, especially Sherlock ones ofc its in Bengali though.
Someone Somewhere - Not arrested. That’s pretty lenient. Tady should be given the services of Roylott’s Indian snake until either the snake succeeds or dies of trying to bite Tady’s fat ass off. What a disgrace this is to the great Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s immortal creation.
Wonderful film, I can see that you have invested a lot of time and effort into it, but the actors aren't very talented, they need some classes in acting.
As hard as these actors try, Jeremy Brett outshines all as Sherlock Holmes. Jeremy Brett is unequaled and the epitome of Holmes whether on screen or in the theater. Of course, where would Holmes be without his faithful Dr. Watson played by Mr. Hardwicke
Wastage of time You just spoiled the image of Sherlock Holmes How could someone who looks like this play the role of a strong character like Sherlock Holmes This disappointed me too much
May I enquire what language they speak? It hardly sounds anything like English, certainly not the Queen's English as spoken circa 1890. It all sounds like a Hungarian, speaking English with an American accent and sounding like a bathtub of water being drained. I would be an improvement to turn it into a silent film with subtitles.
So let me get this straight: a middle school drama club performed this and videotaped it, only to have it stolen and used for blackmail by putting it on UA-cam? And they couldn't pay the ransom for the tape? That would clearly be the possibility that is wildly improbable and so MUST be true...because all the other excuses are _impossible_...
"Besides, I already have a companion, why should I desire to have another one?" LOVED that! Thank you for giving credit to our dear Watson and this wonderful adaptation!

It was Doyles favorite Holmes story.

Jeremy Brett is Sherlock Holmes
Mohammad Shahid true, but nothing wrong with people feeling like adapting it. But Jeremy is the best.

Sherlock holmes means Jeremy Brett, no one else could even be imagined as Sherlock except him, he has made the characterisation of sherlock immortal.

has anyone wonder why she said speckled band rather then naming the species
That's easy, she didn't know. But I have always wondered why she never said "snake," other than Doyle's imagination called for it.
