- Huge Spoilers
This film has one of the most unique and fascinating scores of 2023, and there are several moments which stand out. But this - this final, brief, brightly coloured gem of a scene - is the main highlight. Possibly the most satisfying film ending of the year, both in terms of plot, but also music. So much has built to this, and composer Jerskin Fendrix lets loose with a grand, exuberant statement of the main theme, crowning Bella's achievements and ending the film with a flourish.
Starring Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, Ramy Youssef, Mark Ruffalo, Kathryn Hunter, Vicki Pepperdine, Margaret Qualley and Christopher Abbott. Screenplay by Tony McNamara, based on the novel by Alasdair Gray. Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, with an original score by film scoring newcomer Jerskin Fendrix. - Фільми й анімація
"And we should get some water for the general"
*literally the whole audience erupted in shocked laughter at the reveal*
Perfect movie of persevering innocence against all odds. Babies has it when they come to our world, but society, the corrupted does them harm. In this movie, our main character preserves even after all!
Watching this in theaters was one of the best cinema experiences I had in awhile. It was a great film to end my theatrical run for 2023
This ending is so satisfying
So satisfying
Best movie in 2023
I can understand having both her lovers living there, even the fact that she switched Alfie's brain with a goat but WHY would she keep him there?
Also fun fact: Felicity is played by the daughter of Andie McDowell
The movie isn’t meant to be taken completely literal, although it is presented that way. It’s always been a metaphor. The man who cause her the most damage will always be apart of her life but no he’s relegated to being a pet and one you mock. Basically a great way of putting your abuser in their place in the context of your life.
And her creation will do the same to her.
@@redchariots5428Nah, a goat cant do shit
@@redchariots5428 that’s no how abusers minds work actually. They always cling to the past power they had and want to keep searching for it, so your observation of my comment is not only weak it’s has no foundation in reality. Plus she’s literally matured enough to be able to have a level of intelligence to achieve this while the general never matured nor obtained any more intelligence, I mean did you not see the movie, or are you one of those people that get mad over women having one movie that empowers them over the many movies men have that empower them?
Andie McDowell of 4 weddings and a funeral... 🙂.. With huge grant
Que filme incrível aaaaaaaaaaaaa
