I’m terrible. 2:34 and I have no idea why? Wonder if it’s my wheel settings. I’m taking all the lines, shifts, etc. it’s super frustrating
third last turn is flat out there's no need for a lift. to do this you have to turn slightly earlier into the apex than when your brain tells you to. having said that, I haven't driven the Nissan Silvia Gr.4 here so Im not sure if it can but the supra can.
You have to lift or it will go wide. If you’re at the right speed and the right turn in and angle you just have to lift for a split second to line up.
I would love to have a clean race for once😅.. I've been getting killed by reckless drivers all day. 😢
it sucks at first but you gotta try being clean every race until you to a high rank where you usually get clean races
Me too! I get limited time to play, then get pushed off and punted when trying to stay clean and fair! Need to kill the quallie like this to stay out in front 😃

@@scarfejs_ I do sometimes, but trying to up my rank, I’m at the lower end of B now with S safety, was nearly 3/4 full on B. Think I’m just going to pick my races each week now, and just enjoy getting better at the track in qualllie
I am curious why you use the downshift as an addition to your braking en then upshift to accelerate with lower rpm.
My intuition tells otherwise because with too low gear in corners my rear usually breaks out to much, high gear with low rpm when accelerating is normally slower?
I think I missed some basic lessons😅 maybe someone can explain?
If your rear is spinning out - you are probably going too fast into the corner or you are still too much on brakes, look how Digit if he is in 2nd gear uses only little or no brakes.
On the way out he uses higher gear to prevent slipping and I think because this car has turbo it is more efficient to shift in corner to higher gear and save time on shifting later...
I guess it's additional engine breaking + more weight at the front for better turn-in. Just do this with wheels as straight as possible before you turn your wheel into the corner and the car should remain stable and slow down just a tad quicker.

I tried this im 2 sec of the pace lol
I don't like the new physics at all. they really take the fun out of gt7. only played a little since the last update. Cars heavier, BoP completely changed, many cars just slide off the front tires like they have soap on them. a year since the release I've trained myself in trail braking (started simracing with the gt7 release) and now it mostly has a negative effect (heavy understeer). That's why, as I said, I'm less interested in gt7. Unfortunately...
i know man, its a disaster! its starting from zero...
At first I was confused but then I just realized I need to brake in a straight line the turn when I am slower. Can feel the difference in the traction.
So the point is that trailbraking became almost useless in GT7 now? 😮
@@emgie2325 not completely unusable, but if you use it too much you're more likely to get penalized for it.
@@emgie2325 nah homie. You just gotta be more gentle with steering inputs with the braking pressure
