Can we give kevforce some love? He didn't just try to tap Kimi and send him into the wall. He straight up kamikaze'd his own race (an easy 2nd place no less) to try and end Kimi's race. You have to love the commitment!

They have not turned contact penalties off. I got one myself yesterday. 3 seconds for hitting a guy who stopped dead in the middle of a corner.
they have , contact means little bumps scratches but a high speed difference hit into another car gets you penalties

Unfortunately, the issue isn't really about Kimi looking for attention. That's him just playing along with that line of logic so he doesn't have to admit to everyone that he's an emotional open sore with no self-control.
See this is why you should show people like this. It gives the players a heads up on who they are dealing with and players can take action. They will only like the spot light for the short term. Once enough people know them they wont make it thru another race. Just keep raising the awareness of people like this. Then send em to the shadow realm every race. When everyone in the race does it to them they will get tired of it.
It also gives him attention which is probably what he's after

When sport has race A with no DR updates but SR updates, you can just ride in the back cleanly and boost your SR. So when he drops he can get it back up quickly by doing virtually nothing and no effect to DR
When people gonna learn? You have to take out kimi to pass him. Because he WILL ram you off. Hes lucky im not a mod in GT7. His safety rating would be stuck at F.

Okay hear me out. Instead of giving out penalties, GT should just make both players a little slower after contact occurred.
Yes, this will also hurt players who do not feel at fault. But here is what you want: it completely disincentives any malicious driving. Because if you were to hit someone, intentional or not, it just invited everybody from behind into the competition, which nobody wants

I though the contact penalties were back on? I saw several in my last Race C this week, including to me!
If I was in 1st and I saw Kimi in the mirror closely following, that would make my heart sink. Luckily I have been fortunate enough to avoid him.
Shame of it is, he could be clean and competitive if he wanted.
Not sure how it would work but can you back out of a lobby once you see who is in it? Back in the day in other games if we saw a troll in the lobby we would bail and join another one. Eventually, the troll either got the message and quit or at minimum changed their name and didn't behave badly anymore. I don't play GT7 so I honestly have no clue how the lobby system works. If it doesn't work that way then my bad for a crap idea.
sadly it wont work , all lobbys start at the same time in a time window ..if you back out you have to wait till this race ended and the next frame opens.. its so stupid

I'm disgusted too . There is a systemic problem that is easily fixed, if you make contact with another driver your done for the day. Sad but there is too much immaturity out there and we need a fix. It is so much fun to race clean ,euphoric even. If you have anything less than an S rating you should not be allowed to compete in cup races. Time to drain the swamp.

The host oh, the rooms should ban him or kick him out of the race in that room, which he joins. Everyone knows of him or her now so just kick him out or her out of the race or the room when they see his name.
