the key to kurt's sound is a jaguar or strat with humbuckers and one with single coil for other songs (you can just do a coil split) a fender or marshall amp and boss ds-1-like distortion (of course you can use others like ds-2, or i use os-2). for example the key to drain you sound is a barely cranked marshall with single coil for clean and just the ds1 for distortion , that applies for sappy too. but for songs like about a girl its better to not crank the amp and use humbuckers. for distortions like breed you gotta crank the amp a little bit and use the ds1 also so you get that fuzzy distortion tone. and for tones like come as you are you use very similar settings as drain you but with the chorus, ideally you'd have to use a EH small clone but that pedal is very rare to find and expensive so just use any chorus pedal that u got (i use joyo analog chorus, it is a boss ce-2 clone)
@@edgyadam2372 OP meant that they’d rather watch someone else (such as fans, random guitar players, etc.) cover the song/s than the actual band themselves (when they perform it at their shows).
Hey this is very cool! I'm on vacations and I also want to cover the whole album. How much time did it take you learning all the songs? Do you have discord or smth? It would be cool chatting with you 😆😆

I'd rather watch a cover of normal people a thousand times over the cover of the original band.

@@edgyadam2372to be fair. it isn’t looking like nirvana is reuniting with kurt for a bit.

where do you find the backing track please 😇
I have a public playlist up that is Nevermind backing tracks
@@Eli_Travis Could you drop a link to this pls?)
when did you start playing?
@@Archie5309 about 2 years ago I think
also use 3 fingers for the power cords for the best accuracy
Kurt used 2 fingers only, is more comfortable for me, maybe for him too

I just kinda learned the songs overtime and decided to cover all at once. and I don’t have discord
Did u use a ds2 on this?
