I’m 43 now, and after getting my boy his first deck, for his birthday, I’ve been on it more than he has!... it’s been over 20 years but great fun relearning the tricks! so the wife went out and got me one Hehheh. I might have to assemble a similar ramp set up in my back yard coz that looks ace, great fun, with beers. Old blokes still at it !!!

I'm roughly the same age as you guys so I can say without a doubt, I'm impressed!!! To the younger guys not so impressed - Strap a 60lb back pack on and go Skate, that's what it feels like skating old (even when you're not over weight!)..

Sweet video guys. Would 12ft wide, 8ft of flat be correct.... and 4ft or 3ft high? Looks like 3.5 ft high as my best guess. Could we know the ramp dimensions, what height and radius was used? My backyard is about to get an upgrade.

48 now watching this and loving the memories! 2009 broke tib/fib and crushed right ankle with all the hardware now! Got kids,wife, 28 yr. career and scared to death of injury again after skating my whole life!Injury effects income/family! Bruno Freitas looks like the main ramp is 12’ wide, 4’ tall, 8’ of flat. The spine ramp looks 8’ wide. That’s my best guess.👍🏽

@@D3clanjames At first i went with just using two layers of the plywood but it soon, even with a tarp over it, started to warp, so I replaced the top layer with some weather proof plywood and it works great and you don't have to cover it up with a tarp

This perfectly captured the last 35 years of my life, and brought back tons of memories. Thank you.
When i was skating in the 80's i think i wanted this to be what i was doing in my 50's. I just wish the 80's guys were still here and still stoked on skating. Anyone who skates is my friend ... anyone over the age of 40 who skates has my respect. It's not just the tricks.... it's the vibe. The guys in the video have the best vibe.
