I don't need the loud music playing while they are trying to explain how to drive this dt12 in winter conditions.

I enjoy the videos but like most others there's too much and too loud background music. The music is louder than the narrator and that sucks

Tire chains are a must on any truck when in snowy or icy conditions. Too many trucks don’t chain up when needed.

I don't think you'll get the safest driving experience...probably 75 percent or more of the trucks you see in the ditch in winter time are freightliner and Volvo....i had a MACK I n the 90s that had automatic shift... it had a T stick on the armrest you had RNDHL when you went down a hill you slowed to the speed you needed to and then put the stick in H for hold and it would not shift up on you if you picked up some speed it still had a clutch for starting and stopping ... L would down shift the truck using the Jake brake faster then any gear jammer that ever lived all you had to do was keep your foot on the brake and it would work the gears all the way down until you came to a stop very cool feature... I'll be getting a Pete ...in August.. with their automatic ... not thrilled.. but i wasn't going to shell out the extortion money they wanted for a manual transmission.

Too many bell n whistles. A lot of stuff to remember. Why can't it be simple, like the trucks have been for the last 50 years ? I want control in the mountains on icy roads ! Just engine brake on / off and 3 stages. Non of this piano playing. " Engine brakes are NOT recommended for decending a down grade" !!?? So just ride the brakes untill they fail ?? WTF !!

they probably base this in inclement weather. icy roads downhill etc...
