I said sure.. drive me 45minutes to the track.. he did so.. on the way he downed a 01 Camaro ss on a 75shot....he told me.. if he ever got anything fast...he had my back... later on, due to an unfortunate eye accident, he became a millionaire.....He bought a 996 gt3, added meth, bolt ons... and gt3076s.....it made 670whp. Stock motor.....He came to the spot one night... and it sounded like a diesel cdta bus... I was in awe of how beautiful it was... he looked at me.. threw me the keys.....and let me row the thing from 40-170mph twice on the highway....Ill never forget the torque this thing made... and he kept his word....What an experience... amazing car.....GREAT VIDEO, Geo is a real one.

Last Mezger motor with Getrag transmission. Definitely a collectibility factor to it. Prices have been increasing on 997/996 Turbo last couple of years. People are not sleeping on the platform anymore.

Yes sir.porsche is well known for making one of the best Dct transmission which they call pdk but porsche also makes one of the best and reliable manual transmissions which can handle a way more power then what there cars makes stock

Pretty sure he was saying Porsche owners that do race typically dont bang gears out as they typically stick to track racing/high speed events. Seen a few street porches at the drag strip. Only one out of 5 the Porsches there launched. The one that did, launched at like 3k but was a PDK Turbo S. The GT3 RS that was part of the group was the only manual... But the guy drag raced like it was a glass transmission. Or his first time on the drag strip. Sounded amazing though.
