I just think this is a testament to how well these cars are built and tuned from the factory. I have a 997.1 turbo tip that still to this day scares me on cold nights with hard accelerations in 2nd gear. I think once you go down the rabbit hole of tuning you run into all sorts of issues. Stock, these cars are amazing. I never tuned mine and the only mod I did was exhaust and 5mm wheel spacers because I didn't want to go down the path of failing parts. To each their own but obviously when you have your own garage and seemingly endless funds I suppose you can do anything to them.
Y’all are true inspiration. Not only your vehicles, but the grind to make these videos. I am a HS Adobe Premiere video editor teacher and I certify students. I know how much it takes to film and edit. Keep it up!!!!
Trust me take out that solid trans mount. Won’t make a massive difference in the turns compared to the insane amount of NVH you will remove from the cabin. Looks great man.
IMO the factory body color vents look much better than the carbon ones, I like the extra middle piece in it, looks much better. The carbon ones are too boy racer for this car. I would also change the trans mount if you're keeping this car long term and will drive it on the road alot, the noice will grate on you over time.
Nothing like a Porsche! Congrats, turned out beautiful. 🎉 First upgrade is to swap out that steering wheel for a more modern 911 factory wheel. That will instantly update your entire interior. Inexpensive and easy to do with a non-multi function wheel and manual steering like you have.
There is something about Porsche. The quality, the driving experience, something is there that once you drive a Porsche,, you don't want to drive another car. Basically, you drive another just to remind you how good is Porsche. I liked Fernando was so respectful with the car, he didn't try to kick the sh.t out if it. It speaks slot about his character and friendship.
FERNANDO THE WISE! These wheels come staggered factory. I am pretty sure the front rims should be smaller. From here they both look the same. Problem solved, its the WRONG RIM SIZE. Fernand is funny wee need more Fernando!
The delay in the throttle plate was done on purpose by Porsche to protect the drivetrain from people dumping the clutch and destroying something that Porsche will be obligated to fix under warranty. You can either get a SPRINT BOOSTER that has 8 levels that will eliminate the TB delay, or have your tuner do it, but then you will be stuck in one level.
Love this Channel fellas! Keep up the amazing work! This is definitely a shop I would love to work in. The banter is incredible. Thanks for the upload!
I like the idea of adding just a little bit of camber anyway since this isn't really a straight line car. The only thing I would like to maybe see would be a medium profile RWB wing or maybe a ducktail to make this 997 to really stand out from the pack at a Porsche car meet, but that's just me. This is an amazing build for your first Porsche! It would be a blast to take this on a road trip to Colorado to drive on all of the insanely fun roads around the mountains there, including Pikes Peak! Maybe bring the corvette too to compare the handling around corners with different levels of boost?
I’m happy that you guys finally finished the 997 turbo. I had asked you guys before how things were going. As you know, I really built mine. Also, it is outstanding I would never get rid of mine and I’m sure you should never get rid of yours, too much heart and soul one into that rebuild. I do have a question I tried shutting off the PSM and also turned mine sport mode. I noticed a big difference what exactly does it do? Can you explain to me what they told you about turning both of them on? Good luck with the car. My car has 780 hp now on the rebuild yours has over 1000 that is insane. Love to hear back from you guys. Congratulations.🎉🎉🎉
Ouch, losing that vent and dealing with a leaky caliper at the event was rough, the car looks good either way but I definitely preferred the carbon vents. Can’t wait to see you get these cars dialed in and run’em
nice job, as always. The only surprise here is seeing a 6cyl still in it. I am finishing up my ls7 993 build and love watching your vids while wrenching.
Stock vents look way better than carbon fiber. Honestly, im pretty over carbon fiber, i think its a bit played out. Sure, pagani looks nice with see through carbon fiber, but on rest of the cars it looks kind of cheap.
Very cool car. A budget GT2 RS. I had a modded 996 turbo with over 500 whp and that car was scary quick. I can’t imagine 1000 hp in one of these. am guessing the next upgrade is getting rid of the dated LED driving lights in the front bumper.
Question for Lee, i have one of these cars, not built to the same level, but i was wondering which version of bilstiens do you have on it, electronic or manual adjustent? I have the electronic version and i find very bouncy once even in comfort mode.
That shade of purple looks pretty good on that cad. A,ways liked the 997. Almost bought one 10 years ago but bought an 11 Range Rover Sport SC instead. Should have bought the 997.
You guys are awesome great videos I love the Z06’s as much as the Porsches I sorta liked the Juke video as well it’s kinda sad it couldn’t stay running long enough to make it to the end of the video plus it’s really one fugly looking car, but I have an idea maybe with some luck swap out that slow azz 13 sec 4 banger and shoe horn in a rear drive with a RB26 just then it might redeem itself? Just a thought again great content guys keep the good work up!! 👍🏻
A standalone will definitely pucker your pits when the car dances underneath you every time you mash the gas . Then you'll wish you had that pumpkin spice mode . On the other hand you'll become an expert at grading asphalt . Good work on the build . See you in the widow's nest .
I want to see ZR1 vs Turbo in 1/4 mile, roll race, hot lap road course, park in annapolis near docks and see which one gets more attention. Bring the juke and count how many times repo man accidentally takes it
🤔 it looks kind of strange to have the fans all in the wrong places for the Turbo. Most companies that run it on the Dino put a fan on each side of the inlets behind the doors to maximize the engine, getting air
I need a friend like Fernando in my life 😂
AGREED 😂
We all need a friend like Fernando
Fernando.. mi amigo
These two guys make the show. Porsches and corvettes are the bonus!!!
damn bro u dont even fit in ur profile pic

Congrats man, and props to Fernando for being the rock solid friend too 💪🏼

I like the color matched vent better, but 2500 is a big hit lol.... I think the hood would look better the same color too.

I love love LOVE this car! Way to go, Lee! I am glad you are keeping it! More Porsche builds please.
How does a Macan sound?
FERNANDO THE WISE! These wheels come staggered factory. I am pretty sure the front rims should be smaller. From here they both look the same. Problem solved, its the WRONG RIM SIZE. Fernand is funny wee need more Fernando!
What a car! You guys by far are my favourite UA-camrs! Long good content loads a videos all the time! Well done guys keep it up!

Great series, watched them all. And the factory air ducts look better then the one you lost imo.
Also stock vents look way better and imo, wheels are spaced too far out. Just need to get to the fender line.
Great looking car especially the way the exhausts exit the rear ,and the wheels!!!❤
If you put the stock wheels back on and put quad tips on the exhaust it’d be a mad sleeper
Factory vents for the win
Stock vents were a solid choice 🤘looks better for sure over the carbon
Love this Channel fellas! Keep up the amazing work! This is definitely a shop I would love to work in. The banter is incredible. Thanks for the upload!
Bring it to Tail of the Dragon
@@eanhuston2426 that was going to be my suggestion! Would love to see that!
Stock vents actually look better

Think it will look better with a gloss finish on the hood & roof.

I gotta say bro I think the original side ducts look better on that car than the carbon ones …fate huh ! oh and listen to Fernando he’s wise 🤣🤣
Did lost mine too at 260km/h … Vinyl carbon cover does it well
Loved this build - from the UK keep on building and we'll keep on watching!
Loves the series. Need more 911 builds
nice job, as always. The only surprise here is seeing a 6cyl still in it. I am finishing up my ls7 993 build and love watching your vids while wrenching.
Such a great series - congrats on making it to the end! 🎉
Im so glad you appreciate Fernando , he is solid gold
Congrats on the finish, really beautiful car 👍🏻 have some fun now! 😁👍🏻
Stock vents looks good✌️
Fernando looks like someone that would fit a Porsche 👀maby you should get him one and do a build and let him help😅
Change your wheel offset, that will also eliminate rubbing.
The dynamic between you two guys is on point 🤙🏼
run a ecu master, all the stock bus systems and buttuns will work like original and it cost like 2000$ just do it
Im sorry i mean maxxecu
This and speed academy’s Porsche build videos are my favorite thing on UA-cam rn!
For me, the stock vents look better and have a more aggressive look.
Do a track day, you no with corners, 1/4 mile stuff just bores me to death, loved the build 👍
Stock vents look way better than carbon fiber.
Honestly, im pretty over carbon fiber, i think its a bit played out. Sure, pagani looks nice with see through carbon fiber, but on rest of the cars it looks kind of cheap.
You should start listening to Fernando 😂🇺🇲💪✌️
You guys did a beautiful job with this build.
I was getting ready to comment about the Boxster steering wheel. So glad it’s being addressed.
Muy bien por ti! excelente reconstrucción. me gustan los autos, este auto es lo máximo.
You know you guys are really funny Love the 3 Porche 1000+Horses, SunShine and LS Swap keep up the good work

me not not much about Porche"s but are the brakes supposed to say Poorsh?

So beautiful bro I feel the excitement threw you when you walked in the garage to load for track ❤
ONE THING.... always ONE THING several times in the videoes.. like it never ends 🤣😄 But damn, it sound sooooo goooooooood 🤤🤤🤤😎😎
The stock vents look superior. Much classier than the carbon ones. Winner.
100% need to sort the headlamp lenses, ive got a 997, just got new lenses and will be swapped over in a few weeks, they fade and age the car.
very cool! it's amazing to see you bring this car to completion!
Definitely make the hood glossy.
Would a Racechip XLR Pedal box not help with the throttle body delay?
It's great just sitting and watching this...instead of living it😂. Thx guys!!
Love the color of the Porsche
You both work together great. Super content keep it up.
This is a really nice car. LOVE the exhaust looks mean!
Awesome job and I think you want to change the front bumper and grill
Great job ! Can't wait to see.the headlight upgrade

Lets go brother = GO GET EM= it looks soooo fast wish I could drive it
Awesome video as usual fellas... Still waiting on some more Demon content... No rush though...
The only time I’ve seen people do that to a fender liner is when they slam their cars on the ground lol
2 minutes into this confusing garbage and a solid index finger says saynara
Love your journey with the Porsche.
I have a modded C6Z Centenniel Edition and an AIM 997.1 turbo. Relevant content here. I can relate
That’s a garage!
Now that's Very nice, finish the Wide Body Hell Cat next
Awesome series really enjoy watching these videos and really like watching the very nice people at @scraplifegarage....keep it up!
A standalone will definitely pucker your pits when the car dances underneath you every time you mash the gas . Then you'll wish you had that pumpkin spice mode . On the other hand you'll become an expert at grading asphalt . Good work on the build . See you in the widow's nest .
Hate it for you that the track day didn't work out. Car is amazing!
Totally awesome 🎉!!!
"Poorsh" Love those calipers!!!!
Thank you for sharing this awesome content
What 360 cam mount are you using?
I want to see ZR1 vs Turbo in 1/4 mile, roll race, hot lap road course, park in annapolis near docks and see which one gets more attention. Bring the juke and count how many times repo man accidentally takes it
In this video, there was no walk of shame back to the garage. 🤔
Congrats! Hope you enjoy it!
Fernando is my spirit animal
I was not expecting a 4 digit number
What a car !!! Amazing !!! 👍👍👍
😮 Amazing 😍 😻
Congratulations I know the feeling very well.
1000hp! Wow! How was this accomplished? Meth?
What kind of wheels are they ? Thanks
Where did you find the steering wheel? Looking forward to seeing how that works out. Great build!
Fender liner looks good to me!
been dying for this vid
I know you've probably mentioned it, but what wheels are those on the 911?
Great build well done✔️ 👍
awesome cant wait for this one
The wheels are 🔥👌
Take some power out and might not be laggy
More Porsche less Juke... Actually, keep the Juke. We need something to kick around...🤣
SOMD cars and coffee in St. Marys !!!!
Its a fender liner extract or fender liner from concentrated
😂
