After my visit to Auschwitz in Poland I took a short flight to Nuremberg Germany. A beautiful city, with friendly people and great German food. I also visited the Imperial Castle but unfortunately lost that footage. Well worth a visit though. Amazing architecture, armoury and views from the ramparts and towers.
Nuremberg is such a beautiful city!
I was stationed in Erlangen, just north of Nürnberg for two years, and I loved going, on the weekends to Nürnberg to have good food and a couple of boots of beer.
I even went to the green goose bar over by the Bahnhof a couple times.
Great memories of a time long gone, but a city that is still fantastically beautiful.
Agreed. Really good food there. They know how to eat. My Grandfather was in the RAF during WW2 and Nunberg was on one of the bombing runs of the city. Something he always regretted. But they had a job to do. The Castle is stunning, but unfortunately didnt get any video of that.

Yes, in order to bring peace back to the area, bombings had to be accomplished.
Your grandfather was a brave man, and thank you for his service!
THIS WAS AWESOME
I just saw the beginning of what you called the “party grounds” but if I am not mistaken that was the unfinished part not what they actually used then as the “party grounds.”
Наиnting, I didt realize.
Germany is such a beautiful country :)
It is for many reasons. The people are always friendly as well. I cant do justice to this with my short videos. Thanks for watching Jonathan.
