I found out the hard way I can't use my Safariland holster with front serrations
Trying to find a safariland for my p80 19/ tlr7a
Maybe cause I’m left handed which makes shopping for holsters more expensive but in this I was happy to pay only 35$ for the Safariland ALS QLS for my XD 4inch service with light. For the right handed version for a glock 19 & light was 130$ Same seller.
I just hope I get exactly what’s described. I love plan on purchasing the mid high one strap leg drop attachment & the QLS/attachment so I can swap my holster to the mid high which I’m putting on my other battle belt since the holster comes with the mid high belt attachment, but I want the leg drop on my range belt.
Safariland is second to none. I love their products. And the mid ride attachment for your holster is vital. There are many reasons why I would choose it over a full on drop leg, one of them being that running is a lot more comfortable the closer you have your equipment to your belt. It shortens the length of travel with each step and centers it more towards your hips. Thanks for watching the video, I will have more coming out soon!
Maybe it aint the fact its right handed that its 100$ more, maybe its different gun and light? 🤪

I think Safari probably better for competition not on rough or unpredictable situations, as if you roll on floor or tripping may just deactivate the guard and gun may be drawn or taken by others. I still feel the traditional wrap around holster better, you can train yourself to live with the button or velcro buckle system, just my opinions.
I see what you’re saying. In my experience with rolling around I’ve not had a problem but that’s not to say someone else won’t. In my local area all LEO’s are running safari land, and theirs are just level 2 without the poly strap mechanism. Which holster do you use specifically?
@@civilianangle it all comes down to how each of us being conditioned and trained. I actually use iwb most of time, but if I have to thigh holster it when I use body armor full bundle, I will use universal drop leg holster with Velcro or button activation for two reasons: you sometimes can't know what gun you will holster that day, so universal one can make it always fit; second, Velcro or button is easier to be activated from certain angle quickly, rather than Safari quick draw. Basically, what I mean is quick draw will rarely fit my needs if I have to thigh holster my handgun which is only the secondary weapon. That's why I think it's best for the competition.
