The noodles I used weren't the 'no boil' pkg noodles. I used regular noodles, just pour boiled hot water over them that made the noodles soft and easier to handle with out 'tearing or breaking the noodles. The noodles finished cooking when you baked the lasagna.
I agree with those no boil noodles. They just taste different to me. And no need to "dry" your pasta sheets, they will need that extra moisture to finish cooking in the lasagna. Looks delicious!
I have just started watching your cooking videos and love how real and genuine you are. I would love to meet you one day but I live in the Midwest so I will just keep watching your videos. Thank you and God Bless!
I love your cooking channel and your show LPBW on TLC channel on cable tv ! I love all the food you make ! I love lasagna and love the lasagna you made ! It looks yummy !
I boil my pasta a few at a time,I only let it boil for half the time 4 minutes just enough to soften it and not break or tear apart, take them out and let it cool off on non stick foil or wax paper sprayed all laid out it makes it easier handling them while they are being sauced and layered to hold up and still comes out perfectly baked.
Oh Amy! Your lasagna looks delicious! It’s one of my husbands favorite dishes!! I love what you did with the noodles, and the meat sauce looks so rich and amazing. Thank you for sharing!
My daughter loves lasagna and wants me to make it all the time. I just use the normal lasagna noodles and they cook while there in the oven and come out soft. Thanks for sharing
Amy, the way you soak these noodles is how you prepare the No Cook noodles and get the best result!! I use Barilla No Cook!! They taste like homemade noodles!!
Amy your lasagna is delicious 🍲. .My mom makes it at times with beef, onions, garlic, red peppers , yellow peppers and green peppers as well and she puts corn into the mix.. Everyone makes it different. . But I love lasagna one of a kind .. 💓
Amy, I love garlic, I usually use my garlic press. (It’s easy) but I’ve always wondered, is it just a personal preference or is there a time you want to mince the garlic vs pressing it? My mom never was a cook. When I went to her house not long ago I made some cookies and I needed to run grab the kids from school. I asked her to take the cookies out of the oven when the timer went off and she said “sure, then do I flip them over and put them back in?” She was 100% serious! I don’t have anyone to teach me these things so I LOVE having you to watch and learn from! ❤
I always wondered what the difference was as well. My mom was a great cook but never used fresh garlic, just powder. I just follow the recipe and never asked anyone that question.
Yes! Tell me about the cheese blend girl💖☝️& the spices.😋☝️we all worked.🤭🤔Our work is never done.🤷♀️🤔How about the veggie Lasagna huh?#yummiliscousness!# spinach!💪💖😋👩🍳👍😎☺️
Love watching your videos and seeing your recipes. I've tried a few and they're always delicious. One thing, though, when I was watching this classic lasagna recipe video, in the end when you presented the finished product the lasagna was in a different baking dish. Not sure what happened.
Just use regular lasagna right out of the box. They work fine as long as they're covered in sauce. My last lasagna was a disaster as I ended up using too much ricotta cheese and it basically turned pink! I was mortified but nobody cared, they said it tasted good!
Call me crazy, but the lasagne that you put in the oven was in a red deep dish, and the lasagne you were tasting was in a clear pyrex dish. Whatever....the recipe looks delish and I'm definitely go to make it this weekend. Happy cooking Amy!
I believe it due to the fact that in the beginning of her video Amy stated that she was making a "classic" w/red sauce & a "seafood" w/béchamel. Amy did say all the kids and grandkids would be in town. Perhaps Amy just became so busy so overlooked showing the "classic" in the red deep dish.
From what others said, yes I was making two difference lasagnas. For this video I made the meat w/ read sauce lasagna and the other will be a seafood lasagna. Check out the video for that. However if I'm mistaken, which happens by the way 😂, the other dis was where I what the noodles getting soft a little bit from pouring hot water over it
At the end of the video, the sound cut out? Did Amy mention anything about sprinkling the parsley to the top of the lasagna? From what I can see she forgot to add it?
My Ex was an Italian so I already knew how to whip up like lasagna spaghetti and stuffed peppers and stuff like that so you can whip up a buzz on your really really fast it's really easy you just don't cook those noodles and you just layer it and it Cooks inside with the sauce you put enough sauce on it it's cool to see how other people make it though enjoy

Hello Amy I dislike rosemary and why do you add that to Lasagna? Never ever heard of that? I think personally you added way too many dry seasonings to the sauce where are all the fresh ingredients like fresh basil? Oregano? Parmigiano Reggiano I usually boil the Ronzoni noodles. I don’t like the ones that you don’t have to cook this lazy way to cook I’ve seen you make nice dishes but this one is a pass for me Keep smiling dear
My mom would put a cup of red wine in her sauce it made it amazingly good adds a depth of flavor.
Sounds wonderful. I use the 'no boil' lasagna noodles. No soaking or boiling. Ready to use right out of the box.
Me too and my lasagne always tastes and cooks great.
@@juliajones2283 Exactly!

What other great cooks do you follow. Love the recipe.
Huge shortcut suggestion, use the RAO's marinara sauce! Best ever jar sauce, even though I love my own sauce, I don't bother making my own anymore.
I agree. Making your own sauce I love but when it's not convenient there are some good jar sauces out there and does save time 🤗
Call me crazy, but the lasagne that you put in the oven was in a red deep dish, and the lasagne you were tasting was in a clear pyrex dish. Whatever....the recipe looks delish and I'm definitely go to make it this weekend. Happy cooking Amy!

She said she was making 2 different lasagna. Some of her kids are vegan and don't eat meats.

No audio at the end ! I am wondering what happened to all the lasagna 🤔
What happened to sound and what happened to red dish,?
Don't like how you handled the raw beef & then the salt with the same fingers. I think it's time for a salt grinder...

I hate the no boil, don’t have the taste and consistency of regular pasta.
I agree, I think it's well worth the extra time to just boil it.
What don't you hawk?
Not a fan of those no bake noodles either 😊
