- How are you finding Squadrons? At first I was extremely underwhelmed but as I've learnt the game I've come to enjoy it a lot!

The most satisfying thing is when you have a tail, drift and then blast it to shreds.
Did that with a. Tie fighter, I clipped it

I remember my first dogfight match. TIE Interceptor. 13 kills. Felt like a natural pilot.

@@dzidkapl True... but that beginners luck just continued until I was top of the leaderboard in a lot of rounds, with a lot of kills, after much boosting and drifting.
No beginner's luck my first match. Forgot to do some loadouts on my ships. Also, a Fleet Battle vs AI match that I won (with some difficulty) wasn't counted towards a challenge I needed to get. I think someone left, which probably means the match wouldn't count.

This game is a defient improvement over the fighter combat from battlefront to it was good but it was lacking and this game fixes thoughs issues you can drift now there a lot more of a emphasis on the weapons you use in your loadouts and all and all it looks like a really fun game
I love this game. It just feels so authentic, great fun drifting past players, and the set ups make a huge difference to the tactics.
The all rounder dominating is good to see

If you aren’t into flying that makes sense! I wasn’t overly hyped for this game either but the multiplayer is a blast for sure, and it’s only £30
Sounds like you're too young and didn't grow up with star wars rogue squadron for the Nintendo 64

@@fsan5382 Dont forget 2 Rebel Assault and 3 Rebel Strike for the Gamecube(only bad thing where the ground missions xD)
No need to feel pressured to play the same games other people play, for a lot of us in our 30s we had Rogue Squadron on the N64 and X-Wing on the pc and this game is hugely Nostalgic for us.

What components did you use that round?
The mistake you had was at the end. You tried to recharge shields but it takes longer. You could have had power to engines to be fast and maneuverable, but you still did good.
Usually people would’ve been tearing everyone to shreds, but it looks like that’s you doing that in this video. Outstanding job. 👍💯⭐️
Hmm. Agree looks very cool but a straight up Tie-Fighter remaster would sell me 100%
I recommend trying this game out if you're interested! It's only £30 at the moment and might even go on sales later this year

@@HarrisonJames Sorry for the late reply, but you're very welcome! Hopefully we join forces unexpectedly in a random game. I've been a pilot gamer for 18 years since Ace Combat 4. My highest record in Battlefront II (2017) was 82-3

I just play on PS4 with a standard controller - nothing fancy

Is high ttk/bulletsponge really a Problem like some say?
It’s really not bad. If you hit a target consistently it goes down pretty fast even the bombers
The main problem in terms of balancing is the Awing, it’s the fastest ship, has a faster TTK than a Tie interceptor and has shields. Not to mention the fact they have a missile which one shots tie/INs and they have shields which leads players to divert power to the front and just drive into people (jousting) to get a kill without getting hurt.. so dumb

Not bad for a 12 kills streak but i would say the other wasn't in a team and probably fresh noobs. Your aiming is on point and so is your movements. And great tactic with the shields! Hope to seeing you on the field ;D

Dude yavin I hate sometimes, when you dive down in the clouds for cover it damages your ship, plus there is NO COVER where you fly. Anywho, rebels are meh
Having no cover does suck but it also spices up the game a bit
I had to change my settings to be like GTA flight settings
He's the best starfighter in the galaxy

So basically. Play rebells, all shields to the front = win
Going for head on gunfights is never a good idea as either side as you’re going to be left dead or extremely weak, but yeah it seems like Rebels have an advantage in that scenario

I am not much of a dogfight fan but I rekt ppl on fleet battles. I remember that I had a 15 killstreak with the tie IN I never played as the rebels in this game and I am not looking forward to play as them rebels.
With all the mechanics involved in this game...and the huge skill based learning curve involved....casual players are gonna drop the game so fast...if you are a skilled pilot going up against a new player...it's gonna be like seal clubbing...even as it is right now if there is just ONE good pilot he/she alone can win the match...since most new players dont even communicate or talk on the mic...they just get their ass whooped and say fk it and leave the game...(which I think is a good thing lol..)

I’d say the story was a little disappointing, multiplayer is fun though. Still, this game is gonna die fast, if EA doesn’t update it often

Really you guys dont think theres gonna be much of a competitive scene? With such a high skill ceiling? As long as the keep the game neutral and constantly fix bugs add some maps here or there and new skins and cosmetics i think i could last
