- Possibly some of the best gameplay I've ever gotten in this game and I just had to share it! 14 straight kills with the TIE/IN Interceptor, 5 assists and a 0 death win. I hope you guys enjoy, leave a like if you did!

No locking weapons, smart, they can't be alerted to your presence so you just appear behind them and vape them 👍😂
The problem with locking weapons is that they can be easily evaded, or countered by shooting them down or by using countermeasures. I tend to use them against objectives except for the Anti-Starfighter missiles.
This pilot knew failure was not an option since they had Darth Vader watching as a hologram and a bobble head

Whenever you get a zero death game with a bunch of kills in any multiplayer game. It feels so good.
that is also the reason why you have to wait in the lobby. 3 games of this as a casual gamer and you do not touch the game for the next 3 months ;)

You should try the barrage rockets. It’s essentially like double damage when you use both the rapid fire cannon and the rockets at the same time.
I need to try out a lot of different components, I basically stuck with the same ones since launch

The opposing team were lowbies. It was straight up bullying--not that it's the author's fault... The matchmaking can be pretty awful.
Kind of like World of Tanks really...
Yeah, so many of the opponents reacted to getting burned down by... continuing to fly slowly in a straight line and just let it happen haha
I had 17 Kill Game on this map one night. I also had about 5 deaths so it wasn’t perfect. Great video btw!

this stuff is normal in the flightsim community, if u dont learn some basic things u wont stand a chance, this guy just proves it again ;)

@@_R_R_R I’m getting better at it but I will say there are some matches where I’m shooting ahead of the target and sometimes the hit detection is bad. Sometimes tie fighter magically disappear from the screen and reappear.

Tip: Change the seeker mines. They don’t really help your gameplan. I use barrage rockets, and with such amazing aim, it will help a lot! :)

Literally did this yesterday with 14 kills and 2 assists with an A wing. I did it with charge shots and mines.
What control setup do you use to play this game? Can a flight stick do well in this?
Don't know my highest streak, but my highest kill count in a dogfight was 24 (think I only had 2 deaths in that match).Previous record was 20 and the I had a couple of 19's. Was with an A-wing and playing with a VR & HOTAS setup definitely gives me an advantage.

I had a 20 kill game in a tie intercepter with only 2 deaths. I was screaming the whole time. Still my best game by far. Awesome vid

This game reminds me the old Xwing Vs TIE Fighter, seems good, if only volition rejuvenate freespace the great war with these graphics would be an instantaneous blast, also good skill for the dude in the tie fighter, nice.

I kinda miss old Star Wars Galaxies space combat when you could modify your ships and shoot backwards! Seriously, it needs a privateer side!
Personally, I love the fact that the view is restricted to just pilot view only. Evens the odds.

Would've been neat if we could fly hero/villain ships.
So cool. It's just crazy how an F-35 of today has a better field of view than the TIE interceptor.

and i was happy with a 7 kill killstreak with the interceptor with only 20 hours in the game
Did you have any customizations? Like primary weapon, hull and engine? And wow, you didn’t divert power to engines to move swiftly. You were on lasers all the time and still moved fast to get a good shot.
I’m constantly switching between weapons and engine to build up a small amount of boost but I have the weapon customisation that makes it more powerful but less ammunition so I keep my power on weapons a lot
@@HarrisonJames I’m assuming that’s the Rapid Fire Cannons for the Interceptor. That works but the shields on the Rebels can be a real pain. And you’d have to be within 600m or less to use it so you’ll have to get closer.
I want to fly a tie interceptor so bad.

Was that just the standard engine? Some of those maneuvers were nice
Looks like the micro thrust engine but I might be wrong, I haven’t played interceptor as much so this level of maneuverability might come with standard interceptor engines haha

How are you playing this? Console, PC? I use a mouse + keyboard exclusively and I was wondering how the controls were with that setup.
How do you use mouse a keyboard, that shit was way too wonky for me I had to switch to a controller.

This gameplay was just regular PS4 controller and default settings (I don’t think I’ve changed settings)
