Eli, I am a 65 year old attorney in NJ in the US and I think you do more to make Russia a real place with real people instead of all the negative stuff we here in the US, I will never travel to Russia or to any of the places you go, but I love watching you journeys and especially now your family, and your young brother, the best chef in the world, is just the best !!!!!! where is his site, thanks :)
You are a good person, and it is a pity that you do not have the opportunity to visit such a beautiful country as Russia.
A 65 year old attorney with grammar like a child.
these people are NOT russians. Bashkortostan is one of many other TURKIC nations that have been under russian occupation for so many years. russia forces their men to join the army aganist Ukraine. These people fight for their freedom!
Then you should know that Bashkortostan is not Russia and that the people living there are not ethnical Russians. It´s a Russian colony and the people fight for their freedom. They do not, to my understanding, want to belong to Russia.
Unfortunately - and I say this as a Swede and neighbour of Russia - many of the negative things you hear about Russia and the Russian people are correct. They do not have the best reputation among it´s neighbours, to put it mildly. But again: The people in Bashkortostan are not ethnically Russian and their native language is a Tartar one, it´s not Russian.

So much variety of people in Rusia, cheers from Xela, Mayaland: Guatemala, central america.
Hi Miguel, greetings from the other side of the border, I live in Chiapas. Just a piece of information: This is not Russia anymore than Guatemala is or ever was a part of Spain. The ethnicity of the people is not slavic, it´s Turkish and they struggle for not belonging to Russia. It´s "Russia" just iin the meaning that it belongs to the Russian federation, but again: The same way the Spanish wanted your people and the world to believe that you in same way belonged to Spain. Which was of course nothing but a colonial lie.
I am from SOMALIA, EAST OF AFRICA . GOOD TO SEE again.

The fact there is so much diversity and yet people still can relate and get along is one of the wonders of Russia. You and your sisters are a comedy troupe, and it was very entertaining.

Cracks are coming. Many indigenous peoples had no choice of joining the Russian empire. What you call a wonder is actually coercion from an authoritarian government.

Bashkortostan is nice...I'm from the Netherlands but I lived in Russia for 7 years with my wife. In Kazan. One day I said. THAT'S IT Today we will have fun in Ufa! So we went there by bus...Craziest little vacation we ever had. Everything we planned was replaced by better things. We go on the street to walk, people come with us to show us the city. We go have a drink, the bar in a 80's style calls their friends to make it party for new guests. I repeat a guy from a +100500 video: Moskva g*vno! A Ufa za*bis! And we get free bish barmak. It was maslenitsa so we burned a straw doll in the forest close to our apartement and suddenly it was sunny and + 3 C. We will never forget Ufa. It was only for 2 days, but we felt good vibes everywhere we went. And that is only Ufa, not the rest of Bashkiria. Kumyz though...Yes I know that tends to torment your belly a bit. Next time you drink Kumyz eat some cucumber and garlic with it. It helps. :)

Yes but they influenced so much from Russia
We are Eurasia, and we have been trading and livibg with each other, sharing millenary culture for centuries and centuries. The partition of land into states is unnatural, we always have so much more in common than differences...
“Kurut” is made from yogurt in Turkey. Süzme yogurt is concentrated yogurt that contains some water compared to kurut. Bashkir korot looked more like süzme yogurt. Tarhana soup is basically sun dried yogurt , tomatoes and flour, a popular dish. In the olden times, soldiers‘ field ration was basically kurut and dried meat, light in weight rich in nutrients; just add water for a delicious meal.
